The home is equipped with a beautiful covered deck with uninterrupted views of the crystal blue waters of False Bay. Amenities include on-site laundry facilities with a washing machine, air-conditioning in every bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen with dish washer. Guests have full run of the entire property. I love entertaining and sharing my home. I will ensure that there is someone to welcome you and answer any questions you may have. This will either be me or my son Troy. Gordons Bay is a picturesque seaside village situated between beautiful mountain ranges and the famous False Bay coast. There are many excellent restaurants and pubs. It's an easy drive to Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl, and the Cape Winelands. Daily maid service is provided every 2nd day of your stay (excludes Sunday and public holidays).

Nestled in our backyard with partial privacy inside Firlands Park Equestrian Estate in Gordons Bay, this is a modest but peaceful spot. This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

For the outdoor enthusiasts Helderberg provide trails for hiking and mtbiking and our dam covers swimming, rowing and sundowners.

Heidi's Barn, Franschhoek

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.

Under milkwoods

This house is built directly above a secluded beach in Gordon's Bay. It has five majestic milkwood trees and an indigenous garden. The sea is often calm and the sandy beach is suitable for children. There are rock pools and cormorants and seals in the bay. The harbour and the village are within walking distance. The house sleeps four people, but only one bedroom is fully enclosed; the rest of the house is open plan. Louise will be there to welcome you on your arrival.

Set high on the mountain slopes of Constantia Nek, Blackwood Log Cabin has panoramic views across the lush valley to the mountains beyond. The 2 bedroomed house sleeps 4 with 2 bathrooms. Power outages are being experienced by SA - the oven/stove is gas, the hot water is gas, the internet is solar driven and we have 2 battery lights for guests use.
