Grandpa Garo is a brand new two-bedroom accommodation located 5-10 minutes (walking distance) from the old town peninsula (close to the bridge). There are lots of good restaurants, burger bars, street food bars, night bars and other. Furthermore, there are many museums, historical spots, beautiful sea views and, as Hitchcock once said: "the most beautiful sunsets.." Our house is located in a nice and quiet street. It is near the old city, local beaches and hotel resort services at the beach all 10-15 min walk away. All other services are close by. Main bus station is 7 min from my house. Free parking space is available in front of house. It is at the end of a dead end street so it is extremely quiet. Our house is suitable for up to 5 people ( 2 double beds, 1 single bed ). Only registered guests are allowed to stay in the apartment

Back in 1930, after leaving Dragove to work in New York , grandpa Mate built a beautiful house opposite the old one in harmony with nature surroundings. Almost 90 years later we’re following the very same path of grandpa Mate by retaining the originality of the house and combining it with modern retro comfort. Grandpa Mate House is based on Dugi Otok at the edge of the village Dragove. The house was restored in 2017.
