If you want to lose yourself in the beautiful countryside of North Wales, then our cottage is for you. We have created a haven of tranquility to return to after a busy day sightseeing or to hide away in and relax if that’s what you’re looking for. All the seasons are beautiful here, spring and summer and autumn with their vibrant colours, a time for exploration, and in winter you can enjoy the pure air and wrap up warm for exploring, or just simply cosy up inside our lovely, comfortable cottage.

Cwt Blawd - Country Cottage.

There will always be a friendly welcome at Cwt Blawd, a cosy and stylish retreat on the hillside, overlooking the Clwydian Range. The historic market town of Ruthin is a mile away and holds a wealth of history with it's castle, and beautiful buildings. Ruthin has numerous restaurants, pubs and take-aways (which includes deliveries). North Wales attractions are accessible by car with Snowdon and Zip World only 1 hr drive away. Walks and cycle paths are plentiful in the surrounding area.

Dating from 1762, this beautiful stone cottage is full of period features, beamed ceilings and a huge inglenook fireplace. Lovely rural hillside location in a courtyard setting, 2 miles from the main road along a country lane, but only 9 miles from Ruthin. Enjoy the lovely private garden, watch the birds or stargaze at night whilst sharing a bottle of wine in the 'Piggery'. Perfectly placed for all that North Wales has to offer. Great for couples, adventurers, families and dogs. Car essential.

Glan Dwr is set on a quiet country lane in the village of Graigfechan, 4 miles from Ruthin and within easy reach of the Offas Dyke walkers path and Coed Llandegla cycle trails. It is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists or for visiting relatives locally. We are ideally located for visiting the north Wales coast and mountains. Llangollen, with its many attractions is a short drive away. Please note we do not have facilities for children or infants. Smoking is not allowed inside or outdoors.

Get away from the everyday with a break in the mountains of Wales. This private, detached barn conversion has it's own terrace, a wonderful open plan kitchen living room and a glamorous and romantic bedroom with an ensuite. Step outside and there are over 25 miles of forestry track starting from the front door and the 4.5 mile long Alwen Reservoir just 5 minutes walk away. There is plenty of walks to do in the area - Snowdonia and Clwydian range, Offa’s Dyke and plenty of beautiful lakes.

Welcome to our converted loft. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Clwydian Hills from the balcony. During your stay enjoy use of the small orchard with picnic table. There is a parking space for one car. This is a perfect couples retreat. We are situated 2 miles from the delightful, medieval market town of Ruthin with it's historic buildings and castle, on a quiet country lane. There is a wealth of cycle routes and walking paths locally.

The Loft

The loft at Pen Dinas has breathtaking views and a perfect location. We have direct access onto the bike tracks at Llandegla bike centre. Also on our door step we have clay pigeon shooting and a trout fishery. There are many walks and trails that will keep you entertained for hours. We have a public house a mile away and are 3 miles away from local amenities.

Popty Pennant is an old bakehouse in the grounds of an historic seventeenth century upland manor house on the Chirk Castle estate at the head of a secret valley, part of the Ceiriog Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
