Nuestra estancia fue excelente, la casa es amplia y muy linda, muy bien cuidada, don Alexis y Doña Blanca están pendientes de lo que pueden ayudarte y te hacen sentir bienvenido, me gustó que te muestran toda la casa y te entregan lo que puedes encontrar en la cocina para ayudarte en tu estancia. Que estuviera frente a la playa fue muy importante para nosotros ya que íbamos con un adulto mayor que no puede caminar mucho y pudo disfrutarlo. Los cuartos son cómodos y ofrecen privacidad.

The place is great. The family that lives in the property is very quiet and you don't notice their presence. They are always attentive to any questions and help if needed (shoutout to Rosa and Mario). The place is clean and quite safe. The parking is somewhat limited: there is only space for one vehicle.

Die Lage ist fantastisch und der Pazifik sehr beeindruckend. Donaldo war auch anwesend und hat uns ein paar Super-Tipps für Vulkanbesichtigungen gegeben. Der Ort ist touristisch noch ein unentdecktes Juwel und trotzdem fanden wir gute Restaurants mit außergewöhnlich freundlichen Menschen. Wir warten zwar nicht surfen, der Ort ist aber gerade für Surfer ein genialer Spot.

Manfred was an exceptional host. Very proactive and communicative at all times. He explained everything very clearly.

The apartment was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. Perfect for families, as it has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

Traveled to Nicaragua from San Antonio,TX to visit my husbands family. Wanting to visit the beach, booked Rene’s home for the whole family. Thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views, the pool the open huge patio. Everything was nice and clean. Kitchen was perfect for cooking and the grill also. We will definitely be booking Rene’s home again on our next visit to Nicaragua ❣️

The accommodations at Casa Tortuga are charming and thoughtfully designed, with a rustic elegance that perfectly complements the beachfront setting. Falling asleep to the sound of waves and waking up to a breathtaking sunrise was magical. The surf here is world-class, with uncrowded waves suitable for all skill levels. Beyond surfing, the eco-friendly ethos of the camp, the delicious locally-sourced meals, and the opportunity to truly disconnect made this a rejuvenating retreat. If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable experience, Casa Tortuga is well worth the journey!

Un lugar cómodo, muy limpio y con todo los requerimientos para poder disfrutar de una buena estadía en la playa que esta muy cerca de la casa.

El lugar la Fortaleza es mágico, es ideal para vacacionar con tranquilidad , seguridad, privacidad y sobre todo amplio, con todo lo necesario y más...para pasar una excelente estadía. don John una persona muy amable, atento y entrega una descripción exacta de lo que el hospedaje ofrece. y aún más la hospitalidad y atención que brindan Fiama, Wilmer y Maribelli son una parte muy importante para que la estadía sea especial. un gran agradecimiento de mi parte y de mi grupo de amigos que disfrutamos de un lugar hermoso en Pochomil. loved the place! it's small but it has everything you need. it has a rustic look but it has modern resources. The pool is big and great, the only thing is that if you're a swimmer be careful with the level change. also the floor is a bit rough. they do have dogs but just like any dog they're playful and need affection so please don't complain. overall I highly recommend this place. it's perfect to relax and get to know the place. the beach is awesome. Also, Karla is the nicest person in the world.

Absolutely gorgeous.

We had a great time staying at Leandro’s home for three nights. He offered many local suggestions of things to do and was always responsive. The ocean view is amazing and the kitchen is very well stocked (spices, sauces, appliances). The decor is very cool with a surfer vibe. We had great family dinners with local seafood from down the street. A rental vehicle would be ideal for this location. The TVs and fans upstairs didn’t work but I’m sure the host will resolve this. AC in the bedroom was a must and kept us cool overnight - we slept comfortably. The ocean view is breathtaking from the bedroom or downstairs, ocean front at its best! Overall a great vacation home ideal for children and families (lots of children’s books, puzzles, games) or a couple wanting some rest and relaxation. Leandro also set up an extra bed for our son which was greatly appreciated!

Wow! gran casa y la atención de don Nelson fue maravillosa. Recomendaria en remodelaciones futuras poner techo en la piscina por el sol y adquirir un freezer. la refrigeradora es muy pequeña para familias grandes y conseguir hielo en el pueblo es un poco dificil. pero pasamos 4 días maravillos y Jennelle fue muy buena anfritriona. esperamos volver!

My husband, our friends and our kids stayed at Jared and Jenn's for 3 days. The property is amazing, with a path right from the back door to the beach and beautiful tide pools up and down the beach that are great for kids, it was much safer than other open ocean areas. It was very clean when we checked in, Fran is amazing and so kind. Emir was great and found fresh fish for us in the village each day. Wifi was good and air conditioners were well maintained and cold.You will need a high clearance vehicle like a truck or SUV to get back to the house, it's an undeveloped road but it wasn't any issue with our truck and it's only 1km. You walk from the house along the beach to the center of El Transito in about 30-40 minutes. After being in El Transito one night, I see why the road is like that, it keeps the beach where the house is super clean, quiet, and uncrowded. You can't hear the music from town, just waves and birds during the day. We'll be back, such a special spot!!

Excelente ubicación frente a la playa. Disfrutamos del sol, las olas y el atardecer durante toda la estadía. La playa se mantuvo bastante vacía a pesar de ser Semana Santa.
