An absolute gem of a getaway, perfect place to rest and relax in idyllic countryside surroundings. Very comfy bed and such a cute little place. Wood Fired hot tub made star gazing pretty special. Would definitely book again.

Lovely house and location, was ideal for all ages in the party. Amenities were very good and enjoyed using the hot tub. Slight problem finding the house when following the satnav but was able to contact the host quickly who gave perfect directions. would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.

Sarah’s place was a great place to stay. We visited as a group of friends and the grounds were a real highlight - including the lake and hot tub! The mezzanine bedroom is fully private. Would recommend!

Outstanding hosts. We were super happy to stay with them for a second time! The welcome basket was a really thoughtful gesture and the extra touches like robes and slippers were very helpful.

Beautiful little place to stay for a few nights. The hot tub was clean and ready to use. The host was always on hand if we needed them. Very grateful of the cookies and wine we got when we arrived. Good attention to detail for example there was a book with guides on how to use the hot tub, oven, shower and even places to go out for food and supermarket. Very happy! Will definitely be coming back. Thanks x

Corky was the perfect base for walks , runs and relaxation. Our dog was right at home as were we. It is in a stunning location with friendly local pubs within walking distance through beautiful countryside. We hope to be back.

We loved our stay at Andy’s place with our parents and our 2 young children. It is in a beautiful and peaceful village. The cottage is really quirky, clean and cosy - had everything we needed for our stay, Andy has thought of lots of extra details which make it a really enjoyable stay. Everything is easy to find and use with Andy’s helpful notes and labels. We really loved the toys and games for the kids so this kept them entertained! we were lucky with the weather our stay we used the lovely little garden a lot which is private and a nice wee suntrap, also has the added bonus of the sauna which was brilliant. Andy was really friendly and helpful upon check in and out and quick communication if we needed anything. Would really recommend a stay here and we will definitely return if back in the area. Cute little village setting. Everything needed for a great stay.

We had an amazing stay! The home was so comfy and relaxing. Loved being able to take the children and dogs for long walks. Lovely local pub nearby. Angie and Charlie were very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend!

It was a privilege to be able to stay in such a beautiful setting. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surrounding countryside. Had a great stay at Marc’s place. Kids really enjoyed being in the outdoors and the location was perfectly close to Grafham water, Huntingdon, Brampton and local amenities. Cute little community shop within walking distance, great amenities within the house from washing to dishwashing down to bathroom facilities (q-tips, cotton pads etc). Loved the underfloor heating and the great shower also. Totally recommend

Had a wonderful short stay at the property which was spotlessly clean and comfortable- the welcome pack was much appreciated. Our dog really enjoyed exploring and playing in the beautiful garden. Lots of great walking in the area but we particularly liked the walk along the Oxford canal to Cropredy, and then lunch at the Brasenose Arms which was delicious. We had a wonderful time at the cottage and thoroughly enjoyed how relaxing our stay was. The cottage was beautiful and had great views of the surrounding countryside with an added bonus of seeing horses and cows from the bedroom window! Dee was a lovely host who was very accommodating and helpful.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dieser schönen Unterkunft sehr genossen. Joanna hat uns wahnsinnig viele und total leckere Sachen hinterlassen. Der beste Zitronenkuchen, den wir in England gegessen haben! Die Lage ist großartig für schöne Spaziergänge, aber auch andere bekanntere Orte sind nicht weit entfernt.

We enjoyed staying at honeypot cottage. The large garden is a sun trap and plenty of logs for the log burner. Simon and Caroline were good on the comms too. Thank you

Beautiful cottage, beds very comfortable. Well kitted out. TV worked fine. Lots of interesting books around with suggestions of various visits and excursions suggested. Water beautifully hot when needed. A very pleasant stay. Miriam also was kind enough to let us have some bodywash as my daughter had forgotten hers and there was no shop nearby.

Lovely little gem, had a wonderful stay with my husband and newborn. Greatly appreciated the tranquility and the home was so well set up!

My wife and I spent a week at Lynne's place in May 2025. We were blessed with glorious weather and the birds were in full voice. For us the specialties were the stock doves and the green woodpeckers which were seen regularly and heard every day. We spent most of the time in and around the lodge except when eating out and going out to get provisions because the location is so peaceful with beautiful views. The house is spacious and was spotless. Only a few minutes drive from Banbury with a range of supermarkets. The vending machine in Lynne's farm proved useful on a couple of occasions. Excellent restaurant in nearby Hanwell; the Moon and Sixpence, very reasonably priced and delicious food (we went twice). The lodge is highly recommended .

The cottage was amazing cozy, clean, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing stay. Angela was a fantastic host and responded to all my queries very quickly. Highly recommend.
