I love old farm houses with character and this property fit the description. From the 5 bedrooms that worked well for our family, to the helpful hosts who frequently checked the hot tub which we used almost every day. The location was excellent being just 10 minutes from everything we needed to access. Thank you for helping us create fun holiday memories.

What a great place for a girl's weekend getaway. There's so much room in the house. We never felt like we were on top of each other. The pool area was wonderful. Each morning we did something 'touristy' and then between 2 - 5 (sun hitting the pool perfect) we were out on the deck. There's many little towns within 15 minutes of Mary's place. They all had unique shops and dining experiences. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms ample, and very clean. I had my two dogs with me. The fenced in back yard could not have been more perfect. It was really nice that they were able to hang outside with us. The kitchen is more than stocked with everything you need if you like to cook. There's a normal 12 cup coffee pot, and a keurig. All in all, I would definitely recommend Mary's place if you are in the area and plan on returning next year.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my brother's engagement and catching up with old friends! It was super peaceful but also had plenty of room to host a party and have a good time. We would 100% come back. My only warning to those coming here is to bring throw blankets if you are used to always having some.

Everything went great, Kelly was always quick to answer my messages. About the only thing I would suggest is to bring extra wash clothes and towels if you have more than a few people staying. Other than that everything was really nice for our girls weekend with cousins. Great House and location to the wineries.

Great place just outside of New Buffalo. We would definitely stay there again. It's in a very nice and private condo complex. Place was pristinely clean and bright. It's an open first floor living area. The host was VERY responsive to all messages I sent. Nice pool in the complex and the beach on the lake is about a 15 minute walk (or you can drive there like we did). Only drawbacks are that the couch in the living area definitely needs replacing (you sink way down when you sit on it), the curtains in the bedrooms are not light blocking and the bedrooms light up soon after sunrise, and finally there's train tracks about 1/3 mile away and you'll definitely hear/feel the train in the middle of the night and in the morning (or at least we did). Nevertheless, those were minor bumps that are easily overlooked. We would rent the same place as we were impressed with it and the way the host kept it so clean. It was a very comfortable stay and I'd recommend.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Ben's chalet! The location can't be beat, with 2 small private beaches just steps away, restaurants within a few minute drive and downtown St Joseph only a 15 min drive away. When we arrived the chalet had not been cleaned (miscommunication with his cleaning crew), but I messaged Ben and he promptly had someone come out to clean the property and refunded us our cleaning fee. Also the view from the back deck at sunset was breathtaking. We would definitely recommend this chalet!

We spent a week here with our family and had a great stay! We had a little housekeeping glitch when we first arrived but communication was fast/it was quickly handled. The condo had plenty of space for our family of four, the beds were super comfy, lots of clean towels & beach gear available. Showers were great and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking (no oils or spices, etc though so BYO!). You can’t beat the location - steps to the pool, 2min drive to the beach (we drove and easily found parking at Townline Beach but you could walk with the wagon provided). A short walk to ice cream, grocery, surf shop and amazing breakfast joint! It was nice to avoid the crowds in downtown New Buffalo but could get there in under 5mins. We enjoyed Whistle Stop grocery, Black Current Bakehouse, Izzy’s gelato, Journeyman, Ghost Isle, Flagship Fish Market, Bentwood & Stray Dog (New Buffalo). Mike’s Adventure Park and Galien River Park we’re a hit for the kids! Highly recommend - can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved this place and our stay. The lake views were more beautiful than the photos could show, the chalet is comfortable and well-stocked, and there was so much to do in the community that we didn't even scratch the surface. We loved the beach area which wasn't crowded at all, even on Labor Day weekend. We drove in to St. Joseph for dinner and to go to ur favorite shops - super easy drive. The walk to the beach was so short we didn't even take a lunch out there, just popped up to the house whenever we needed a restroom break or a snack. We never needed to contact Ben but got plenty of communication beforehand and the manual in the house provided info of how to text him if we needed to. We would definitely stay here again, highly recommend!

Adorable place in cute Union Pier, MI. Description was spot on- place was beautiful, relaxing, nicely decorated & clean. Beach was in walking distance and was very nice - rarely too busy and epic sunsets! Loved that you could walk to the market, a fun restaurant and a bakery. It was also an easy 7-10 min drive into New Buffalo. Confirming what other reviews stated about being able to easily hear upstairs unit but honestly it didn’t bother us that much- would still come back & highly recommend!

Beds were very comfortable. And the home had just the right beach equipment and toys. Kitchen utensils were excellent. very spacious, clean and beautifully decorated.
