The Thunderbird Tiny House

The Thunderbird tiny house is located on the Thunderbird Ranch about 13 miles west of Mountainair, New Mexico. We are surrounded by the Cibola National Forest on all four sides. The property is owned by the Wester's and has been in their family for almost a hundred years. We also have other vacation homes for rent so if you want to bring another family we can accommodate that. (No leash needed she knows the way!). Explore local Anasazi ruins and watch the Milky Way at night and listen to the coyotes howl. We are in the heart of Indian Country surrounded by the Navajo and Zuni Reservation, and midway between Santa Fe and Flagstaff or Sedona, an hour from Gallup and Grants.

Plenty of outdoor space in which to relax and soak up the sun. And great Wifi for remote work. The casita sits on the same lot as a larger house that is occupied by a long-term tenant.

Private Casita at the Desert River Farm

We are located on a 2.75 acre homestead property just south of Albuquerque in a small agricultural community. It is a perfect retreat space for those looking to get away but stay close to amenities. We live in an 1890 adobe home that shares the property with the casita and we have quiet and friendly neighbors. We have a handful of fruit trees, a hoop house where we are growing vegetables, and a wild 1 acre field. The property is fully fenced with private parking right outside the casita.

The rental is on the El Morro RV Park Property on NM State Highway 53, and is nestled under Stunning sandstone formations and surrounded by Pinon, Juniper, and Ponderosa Pine. Elk, deer, fox, raptors, and songbirds are frequent visitors to the park.
