A perfect location to relax & explore Cong, Connemara & the West of Ireland. The barn loft is situated 1.5 miles from Ashford Castle/Cong Village. The loft sleeps 4/5 persons (2 double bedrooms, single portable guest bed) and has a large living space, kitchen, & bathroom. There are 14 steps to the entrance, which is lighted externally. Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.
