Words cannot describe how wonderful this experience was. This family is a gem, and they did everything they could and more to make us feel at home. Because of them we truly experienced Yellowknife -- and this space, with its charming comforts, cleanliness, WARMTH, hospitality and friendship will forever live in our minds as one of the best places we've ever stayed, period!!! A beautiful home in a lovely neighbourhood, so close to town, and with wonderful, wonderful hosts. One truly cannot ask for more.

Tonya was a great host! The place would be great for an extended stay but worked great for my brief work trip to YK.

滿懷幸福的回憶，終於要完成這次的黃刀鎮極光追獵的行程。有太多的感謝，首先感謝心靈民宿的老闆娘，貼心的安排，隨時的支援，讓旅程無後顧之憂，白天放心的玩，晚上舒適的休息充電，恢復體力。房間典雅舒適，隔音良好，溫度暖和，在外面零下20的低溫中，只要回到房裡，就溫暖放鬆了。早餐更是老闆娘暖心的慷慨，吃的到媽媽的滋味，滿足遊子的思鄉情懷。交通也方便，參加當地旅遊，都可以在門口接車，有一次我慢慢走去網紅餐廳Bullock Bistro也只花了半小時。 附近有個Niven Lake公園，夏天很漂亮，可以晨跑、運動，可是現在天寒地凍，都結冰了，只能堆雪人，打雪戰了。 我是Lawrence 來自台灣，也算有緣，生平第一次住民宿，能有此體驗，等於是增加了一個黃刀鎮的景點。一個充滿回憶溫馨的景點。下次再來，一定要訂，黃刀鎮首選心靈民宿。 謝謝老闆娘，再會了黃刀鎮極光之旅。

Wonderful location, friendly knowledgeable host, hassle free check in and check out, accomodating local guidebook, pristine clean home, and more, everything you need for a perfect experience. The home on its own is magical, mesmerizing artwork, the decorations are worthy to spend time on and enjoy looking at. Prep for the trip and during adventures is amazing with Tamar. Quick, respectful, friendly communication. Location truly is a WOW factor, Aurora Borelis danced for us at the house each night. Neighbourhood is amazing, peace and quiet waits for you here. Well equipped house, ready for providing a wonderful home experience away from home. I enjoyed Tamar letting me care for houseplants a bit, it is my hobby in my own home too. Thank you Tamar for your commendable hospitality. Grateful for you making us feel welcomed and cared for, helping us create memories. Hello future guests, please adore and respect this home well. There are treasures in this house and around the area.

We loved our stay at Rami's in Yellowknife. It is an easy walk to everywhere downtown and Rami was very proactive regarding places to eat and tour operators. We were three couples and felt the beds and space were comfortable. We would stay there again.

Aurora Oasis was a wonderful place to stay. Very comfortable, well furnished, and stylish. The deck allows guests to overlook the lake and get some incredible night time views of the sky. Its a walkable neighborhood with access down to the lake. We visited in March and the lake had a walking path around it and we could have walked to the museum. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. The beds were very comfortable, particularly after staying up late to view the night sky. Lindsay was very response to questions and a great host. We really enjoyed our time in Yellowknife and having a wonderful place to stay was one of the main reasons. I would certainly recommend Aurora Oasis for someone visiting Yellowknife.

The place is wonderful, airy and bright. The view of the lake kept us entertained during the day with activity and was amazing at night for Aurora watching. We could watch from indoors and see a wonderful show outside the windows. the balcony added to the view and the 360 view from the bush pilot monument about 1-2 mins away is breath taking when the aurora is happening. our stay here made our trip. the heated floors are also really nice when it's cold out!

The apartment is wonderful， clean, with an amazing view of the lake and very well-equipped amenities. It’s in a good location, and George is a nice host. Highly recommended!

很整潔，wifi 非常穩定和快 煮食用具齊全 步行20分鐘到超市，非常便利 步行10分鐘可到附近的湖泊，非常漂亮 最驚喜的是，有一個晚上，在民宿的門口向天空看就已經可以看到極光，非常推薦。

After we came back from the Aurora chasing tour, we continued to watch Aurora from the balcony and living room until 4 AM. The light was amazing, and it wasn’t going to stop! We had to go to bed cause our next tour was 5 hours later. The next night we heard that Yellowknife was out of electricity. People were not able to check in to the hotel or buy groceries. I wasn’t sure how it affected the airport, but I heard that they couldn’t use the luggage carousel. Luckily, George was prepared. Our place was one of the only buildings that had a backup generator, so we were comfortable and warm. We really appreciate that we stayed with the best place!  

A quaint one bedroom ground floor apartment with a well stocked kitchen with lots of extra food including condiments and breakfast items. Quiet residential neighborhood, with a plug in for the car, which is required for Yellowknife winters and portions of spring.

George’s place was perfect. On the shores of the frozen Great Slave Lake with a large top floor balcony and facing the warm afternoon sun it was the perfect place to stay. We saw the Aurora on almost every night from our own balcony. Restaurants and bars all close by. The Old Town is definitely the place to stay rather than the downtown hotels. I will definitely be coming back and anyone wanting to see the Aurora and enjoy Yellowknife should seriously consider staying here. It was perfect. Thanks George

Loved it. Bright and beautiful, with tonnes of space and a very large comfy bed. Much nicer than staying in a hotel and less expensive. Lots of nice touches, very friendly and helpful host. The walk to downtown is quick, and if you take the trail near the house, it's a pretty walk. I've stayed at a lot of places in town and this is probably the best.

My colleague and I were in town for a business trip and had the pleasure of staying at Allice & Tamar's place. The apartment was quiet, clean, and felt like a home away from home. It’s well-located in Old Town, which made getting around easy, and there is parking available if you are renting a car. The hosts were friendly, responsive and provided clear check-in instructions. We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome card and the availability of pantry items that accommodated different dietary needs. The coffee selection from a local roaster was a lovely touch. The view from the apartment was gorgeous, and we were lucky to catch a few beautiful sunsets. We didn’t run into any issues during our stay and would definitely recommend this place to others. We would be happy to stay here again on future trips.
