We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin! The location is peaceful and private, surrounded by nature, with stunning views of the lake right from the balcony. The inside is just as charming — clean, beautifully decorated with wood finishes, and super comfortable. We especially loved the large windows that let in so much natural light. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the hot tub, after a day of hiking nearby. The host was responsive and made everything easy from check-in to checkout. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful family time spent at Elizabeth’s place enjoying s’mores in front of beautiful sunsets. A bald eagle actually flew up and perched itself right above my daughter and I on the last night. Definitely a peaceful spot for a Door County trip. We’ll be back!

The space was beautiful, clean, and clearly put together with a lot of care and love. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. It was the perfect environment for a relaxing getaway!

Our family had a wonderful stay! The house is even more beautiful than expected, very peaceful surroundings. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed, plenty of towels, linens, fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of games and outdoor entertainment.

This is a great place to get away from everything. We went up to see the eclipse on March 13-14, as this is in a “dark” area, so you can see the stars very well - which was the perfect place to set up our photography gear to get some amazing shots of the eclipse. It’s remote, but it’s only a 10 minute drive into town. The hot tub was amazing, and so relaxing! Quiet - peaceful - secluded - buy still close to neighbors in an emergency. Plenty of equipment there to enjoy the outdoors too! Plus, our Boxer, Willow really enjoyed exploring the area - even though it was colder, we enjoyed hanging out outside. Definitely something to consider for the summer - lots to do and nearby other towns in Door County. :)

Beautiful and private cabin, with great scenery! Perfect spot for a weekend getaway, and close enough to all big name towns. Definitely would go again!

We totally enjoyed our three days at the little farm. Trevor is a great host and I enjoyed talking with him and the special tours of the new chicken coop and the old barn and blacksmith shop. The view over the marsh and sunrise were amazing. Pretty cool spending a few days at a 1888 farmstead on the end of the road. Very peaceful and with a comfortable dwelling that had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here for a true change of pace. Thanks Trevor.

This is our 4th time visiting this cabin and it never disappoints! The last time my now husband and I were here was a few years ago when we got engaged at the park down the road. We love sitting by the fire, fishing by the pier and cooking yummy meals. We always leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

The cabin was exactly what I was looking for. It was quiet, simple, spotlessly clean and surrounded by natural beauty. I was in the area on a pilgrimage (Our Lady of Champion) and wanted somewhere remote, without distractions to rest and reflect. This place was absolutely perfect. There were tenants in the other rental house on the property, but they were really quiet and I hardly saw them. I loved the views of Lake Michigan, the beach access, and especially all the trees. It was enchanting. I ‘d absolutely stay here again! Two very enthusiastic thumbs up 😊

We were so lucky to find this gem when visiting family in the area recently. We had a lot of downtime and it was such a joy to hang in this beautiful location. 😍 I saw several herron, a deer and numerous breeds of butterflies. The house is amazing; the pics don't really do it justice. We will definitely be back!!

The house was exactly as described and was perfect for our family vacation. Very clean, well taken care of and plenty of space for the 8 of us. The kitchen had everything you would need. Loved the neighborhood too.

Great cabin out in the country - close enough to get what you need in town but far enough out to afford some privacy and relaxation. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Thank you so much. It was such an open and relaxing space. Beds and pillows were comfortable. It was nice to relax in the house and easy to go out. Easy to drive everywhere in Door county. Highly recommend the ghost tour trolley at door county trolley (one of the best things I’ve ever done)! Thank you again, we hope to return in the future!

This was our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first! It’s the perfect place to unplug in the country for a few days. The kitchen is great for cooking, the beds are very cozy, and the shower is wonderful. Our favorite part is plugging in our laptop to watch movies on the projector in the evening. Rachel and David are awesome hosts and very communicative if you need anything. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved this house. We felt at home. We could have stayed much longer. It's peaceful, private, cozy, has a sense of history and place and comes with everything you could need. The farm kitchen was my favorite spot. We are from WI originally and that kitchen was like so many I have been in. I was inspired to cook every day. Fantastic stay. We would love to come again in a minute!

Tranquility Cabin: Nice little cozy cabin. The propane fireplace / stove kept it warm in the winter. The bedrooms were a bit cool, but that’s what blankets are for, and there were a lot of comfy blankets provided. Bring slippers if you are renting in the winter. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, condiments, etc. It looks like this cabin was rehabbed about 5 years ago with new windows, flooring, paint, etc. The area was phenomenally quiet, which I loved. The stars were great at night, and there is a lot of local hiking available at the state and county parks. Also did some local geocaching. The water level appears very low (Dec 2024). There are only a few inches of water at the end of the dock, so probably 2-3 feet lower than it would need to be for boating from the cabin. Belinda’s instructions were clear and helpful. We didn’t need to contact her for anything during our stay. The WiFi was slow to respond (looong ping time), but speedy once it got started.
