Madhav's lake house provided us with wonderful memories. The amenities were exceptional, exceeding our needs, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The breathtaking lake views were a highlight, and our group of four families thoroughly enjoyed kayaking and observing the lake's wildlife. Madhav's team was also incredibly responsive. We definitely plan to return.

What an incredible stay! This property let us really enjoy the amazing fall colors. The lake and surrounding area were a so beautiful, enjoying the solitude and nature was such a great getaway. Couldn’t reccomend it more! We loved our games of tennis, and immensely enjoyed the paddleboard and raft. Rachel and Stacie were very responsive, gave great recommendations, and made us feel right at home!

The home was absolutely beautiful and fully equipped with anything necessary such as cooking or activities. My guests and I especially loved the two decks with the beautiful view of the lake. Even moreso Valentyna was very helpful and responsive throughout the stay. I would highly recommend!

An amazing house for a family stay in the Catskills area. Antonia has designed a beautiful home, with so many unique retro nods and details. The basement is an awesome additional space for everyone to hang out in. The backyard set up is also great- with easy access to the hot tub and a few steps to the lake. 15 min drive to great restaurants and things to do-Loved our stay here!

What a beautiful, well cared for, and comfortable place. Exactly as described. We were so happy to be able to bring our dog (who also felt right at home!!). Our adult kids live in Albany and Brooklyn so this was a great place to meet in the middle for Easter weekend. We rented in April so not quite warm enough to take advantage of Sleepy Hollow Lake but we would love to come back in the warmer months to enjoy the lake. We would definitely rent again.

What a great long weekend! The property was beautiful, house was very neat and clean, and the views were AMAZING. Everything was as advertised. Hosts were great, responsive, and their instructions and expectations were crystal clear. Guests I was staying with were already talking about booking this location again for themselves in the future as we were checking out as they wanted to stay longer!!!

Our group really enjoyed our stay at JunkO and Ryo’s place! It was def one of the better ones and we’ve been to 30+ upstate. The recently renovated open concept house is roomy, squeaky clean, and decorated and furnished beautifully. The windows and new sliding doors provide a full panoramic view of the mountains while you sit and eat. The sauna downstairs is also very relaxing and gets hot quickly. They provide robes, spa towels, slippers, and has its own private shower a few steps away. Beds are super comfy and there’s no shortage of linens, towels or anything you may need. Kitchen was also fully stocked. Location is 10-15 mins from anything and everything. Oh and it is VERY baby friendly With very little excess clutter, and they provided all the necessary items (crib,highchair,child gates, tub etc) Don’t hesitate to stay here, We look forward to visiting again soon.

This home is tucked into a wooded lot along Sleepy Hollow Lake. The home was thoughtfully decorated with everything we needed to have a relaxing stay. This was the first time that we have rented a home attached to an HOA, and while that brought additional conditions to be mindful of, our stay was easy and laid back. The access to the water and boats lent to afternoons of fun and the space inside was comfortable and spacious. We spent so much time playing in the lake and exploring the area that we never got the chance to check out the clubhouse pool and accommodations. Michael was prompt with communication gave great recommendations and our directions were clear and easy to follow.

We were a group of 7 adults, 4 children, and 2 babies, and the house felt very spacious and comfortable for all of us. There were plenty of activities both inside the house and around the property, including a lovely pond. The location was also ideal, close to many of the places we wanted to visit, which made everything super convenient. Alexandra was super responsive and helpful!

It was lovely stay! We stayed close to 10 days and it was perfect to post up for a bit. Very thoughtfully stocked. Everything you needed but not cluttered. It is a short drive to wonderful hiking trails and so much other great stuff. The host was also so responsive and kind. Allowed us to borrow her Vitamix during our stay which was super generous. Highly recommend and great value!

What a wonderful place—cozy, warm, and incredibly inviting. Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even texting us weather updates when it started snowing to make sure we were safe. Their thoughtfulness really stood out. We truly enjoyed our stay and are already thinking of coming back in the summer to experience the beautiful countryside in a different season. A solid 10/10—highly, highly recommend!

Este alojamiento en Palenville, es MARAVILLOSO. Estuvimos un fin de semana en familia y amigos Todo lo descrito en el anuncio es estrictamente apegado a la realidad. El lugar es muy tranquilo, privado, elegante, limpio. Tiene una vibra de paz maravillosa. Benjamín fue un excelente anfitrión, muy buena comunicación, empático, tuvimos late checkout gracias a su amabilidad. En la zona hubo una lluvia fuerte, un poco de nieve, lo que provocó una interrupción de la energía eléctrica por algunas horas, pero en todo momento Benjamín se mantuvo muy pendiente de todo. El único punto que pudiera ser una oportunidad de mejora es colocar cortinas en las habitaciones, ya que la claridad es muy fuerte en la mañana. Es un lugar que sin dudas volveríamos. 100% recomendado.

Perfect weekend get away for quiet, quality time in nature! The place was clean. The screened in porch by the lake with the hammocks, swinging day bed, and canoe was our favorite part. Drove about 35/40 min for a great hike.

This was my second time staying here, I love it and the location. I was happy to bring my wife with me this trip and she loved it too. We’re already planning the next time we go.

It’s a wonderful cabin by the lake. The place is very warm in the winter and is spacious for a family. The location is quite close to Windham mountain ski resort and only a short drive. I could see the surrounding will be beautiful in the spring or summer. Very private. The host is very responsive and kind.

A charming cabin perfect for a weekend away. Our group opted mostly to stay in instead of explore local areas and it was the perfect size with just enough to do! The small explorations we did have for local coffee and produce were wonderful. A couple issues with some household appliances but the host was responsive and considerate to resolve them. Loved the doc, kayaks, and hot tub as well as smaller objects to use for entertainment, such as a guitar, fireplace, and games. Hope to come back next year!

Beautiful home on a peaceful lake. Great for families and young children with toys and lots of things to do for the kids. Close to Hudson, overall great stay!
