I was in Charlottesville for a wedding and was so lucky to find this wonderful place to stay. It's such a lovely home on a beautiful little street and very convenient for getting around Charlottesville and the surrounding areas. Drew and Pia were great with instructions and accommodating our late arrival and as well as some late nights due to wedding festivities. The room is spacious with everything you need for a comfortable stay including a decent space to work for the day. Would absolutely stay again and happily recommend it to anyone in the area.

We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this place! The property is in beautiful, peaceful woodland surroundings, but it's also easy enough to get into Charlottesville. Kim was a very considerate host who welcomed us on arrival.

Sallys place reminds me of how Airbnb used to be.. renting a place for a night or two without spending a fortune. Easy check in/out plus a comfortable stay. What more could you ask for? Thanks again!

We stayed at the guest house while in Charlottesville for a wedding and had a lovely stay! The home is beautiful and conveniently located. The hosts were thoughtful and kind and reached out to me a few days in advance to welcome me and see if I had any questions. They accommodated an early check in for our group which was extremely helpful. They even stocked the refridgerator with fresh fruit, bread, yogurt, cinnamon buns and orange juice for us! I would recommend this home for your stay!

This may not be for everyone, but it was our second stay. It is an old farmhouse with a warm, real wood stove. Very quiet and peaceful. Dark sky out the door full of stars, like you never see in any town. Not far from Shenandoah N.P. Excellent restaurant (Lafayette Inn) a few miles away (which also served as an army hospital in the civil war. Beds are comfortable and rooms large. Common bathroom down the hall. Furniture is older, but added to an unpretentious motif. In short, if you love the countryside like I do it was close to perfect.

If anything, this charming 1/2 of a large house is better than you can even explain in an Airbnb listing. I usually don’t rent if there is anyone else on the property, but this was just like being in our own little paradise. We never saw or heard another sole. Beautifully decorated and appointed, I’d seriously love to move in! Great location, and we’ll definitely stay again when the opportunity arises. Thanks so much, Promethea!

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Mountaintime Magic, and really enjoy coming back to visit. The location is a lovely and peaceful slice of the valley just south of Charlottesville, and truly is a magic location. Rich is extremely welcoming and friendly, check-in is always easy and the area is cozy and comfortable. There are some wonderful amenities that go with the rental and a beautiful outdoor area to relax in. The highlight is for sure the location and the host, five stars all around.

Jennifer was an incredible Host, with a venue that was fully as described and perhaps better. Clean, welcoming, centrally located throughout Charlottesville and the region. The space was spotless, with great small perks…snacks, regional publications and her local recommendations. Most importantly, Jennifer was extremely responsive and a welcoming Host!

This is a beautiful, clean home with a great location. The hosts were very accommodating, even leaving snacks for us which were a thoughtful addition because we had to leave very early in the morning and took some with us for the road. Every need was anticipated, including farm fresh eggs, recommendations for what to visit--Prince MIchel winery is a must see--as well as trails, local restaurants, shopping and more. Lovely people, great time. We would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at Summerfields Place was wonderful. Very peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Tanya is a great host. She is very respectful of guest's privacy but responds quickly when needed (explaining the thermostat remote as an example). The unit was spotless and had everything we needed. I had a great experience with Justin from the start. I had a last minute date change for a medical procedure, and he worked with me quickly and considerately to accommodate a stressful situation. The space was beautiful, and perfect for a short stay. The bathroom is easily the highlight of the space, and the beds were very comfortable and clean. A 10/10 stay, and would definitely recommend!

Kris and Lori are amazing hosts and my son and I now consider Cottonwood Pond a home away from home. We have stayed several times now and each time, it is gorgeous, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Kris and Lori are friendly and accessible. The views are breathtaking there and it is just beautiful. We are so grateful for Cottonwood and can’t wait for our next visit!

We would stay here again when we are back in the area.

What a fantastic place! I stayed with my partner and a couple of friends at Gigi’s farm for my birthday/NYE, and we had a great time—excellent communication with Gigi and Mike, beautiful property, great amenities, and thoughtfulness in every detail. We were extremely thankful for the extra gifts to make our New Year’s celebration memorable. We’ll be back, and we have already shared this listing with others who need a nice escape from DC. JoAnn’s place was a perfect spot for a weekend trip to Charlottesville. The living room area outside of the bedroom felt more spacious than the pics showed and the space was clean and ready for us when we got there. JoAnn was flexible with us on Check-in/out and was very easy to communicate with via text throughout the stay. I also appreciated that it didn’t really feel like anyone else was at the house, the private entrance and walkway really helped establish the separation of the units. We were very satisfied!

Lovely host, great bed, neighborhood quiet and good to walk. You can jump on 250 easily with access to downtown and shopping. I could easily scoot over to pick up my granddaughter from school. Eve can share places of interest and their history.

Channa was an amazing host! Would stay there again for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We came in late and were worried about disturbing the household but Cole and Rihannon were warm and welcoming which immediately broke the ice. Our dogs were happy to join us for our trip as well. We explored some trails near massanutten, went to a nearby brewery, and saw live music at the grand caverns. The Airbnb was comfortable and clean and the hosts were quickly responsive to our questions. We would absolutely stay here again, thank you so much for hosting!

Keswick is a beautiful spot a few miles from Charlottesville. The place is an historic colonial era tavern, nicely refinished with modern conveniences. We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very nice and we would stay again.

we were 3 adult ladies in town for a good catch up / Girls weekend. The location was convenient to our plans in Charlottesville and we loved having room to stretch out and catch up in the living room. Access to a mini fridge and coffee maker was also quite helpful so we could caffeine up before heading out for the day.

Kimberly's place was really nice. It was comfortable and clean. I really enjoyed the nice decor and furnishings. Even though there isn't a kitchen and a bit of trouble with the very small refrigerator I would definitely stay again.

Seth was a great communicator! Loved staying here! Definitely historical! Safe area, would recommend!!!!

I would have to say I love David’s place out in the country mountains not too far from Skyline Dr., Shenandoah mountains, which we hiked and rode the motorcycle. This place was beautiful. His furniture was so nice. The bed was comfortable. The place felt right. We also got a couples massage on the premises. It was great. We had a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend David’s place. We hope in the future to come back soon.
