We had a fantastic stay at Desiree’s house. It is incredibly well equipped and everything fits perfectly together creating a modern African style. Also, Desiree and her son Curtis are very friendly, helpful and careful. We felt as if we stayed with friends. We definitely want to come back and we can highly recommend this place.

We have just come back from spending nine unforgettable nights at Penzhorn Rest Cottage and it exceeded all of our expectations - even better than the photos! Zonja, our host, welcomed us warmly on arrival and was so accommodating to make sure we were happy throughout our stay. Her hospitality has honestly blown us away! The highlight of our stay was the daily sight and sound of the river with nightly hippo visitors which added such a magical touch to our stay, immersing us in the beauty and awe of the African bush. Whether enjoying a coffee while reading by the river or relaxing in the ‘bosbad’ every moment felt really special to us! Zonja’s meticulous eye for detail was evident in the small touches around the cottage which made us feel right at home. This is a haven for nature lovers seeking a luxurious yet authentic escape. If you decide to book this listing you won’t be disappointed! We left feeling rejuvenated and are already looking forward to returning!

Where do I even begin to review my stay with Tracey & Bernard. The location was so incredibly beautiful and private. However, I had the safety of a secure fence and Tracey & Bernard’s house behind the Airbnb. The home has everything you could need for your stay. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking and baking. And even AC and covered parking. The hosts could not have been more helpful and responsive with local spots to visit, a friendly chat, and delightful goodies on arrival. Not to mention that Bernard came and rescued me when my car broke down and got my daughter to her job the next morning since I couldn’t drive the car. They went so far above and beyond! You will not be disappointed with this booking. The location is ideal, the home is super clean, the grounds are lush and beautiful. You will be awoken to beautiful sunrises and birds chirping. And have delightful hosts. Truly everything an Airbnb should be and more! Thanks again Tracey & Bernard!

Clive is such a gem of a host, and was more than accommodating. He gave us ideas to do on Saturday to get out, we went to see his wedding venue on the property which was amazing. And he made us an amazing supper on Saturday night, and the breakfasts were just as delicious. We are definitely going to use Clive's place again.

Beautiful setting along the river in the bush. Comfortable and functional space with a friendly host and helpful team. Best for those who are happy to be away from the hustle and bustle, as it’s an hour to Hoedspruit.

Our stay at Tulani Manor Lodge from 21-23 March was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, everything was immaculate, and the views were just breathtaking. A huge thank you to Tania for being such a fantastic host and ensuring everything was seamless. Susan was so welcoming and kept the place spotless, and Roscoe was always on hand to make sure everything ran smoothly. Chris and Klaas took us on incredible game drives where we saw three of the Big Five and more! Their knowledge and passion made the experience even more special. And then there was Lorinda, who absolutely spoiled us with the most delicious meals on Saturday. Every bite was perfection! The service, the setting, the experiences; everything was top-notch. It was the perfect family getaway, and we’re so grateful to the entire team for making it so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

What an amazing place!! We loved every moment. The house, the stoep, the boma and the deck were truly a treat. The area is so peaceful. We managed to do some spectacular birding from the deck and heard the laughing hippos. The Letaba river never disappoints. Featherbrook cottage is worth every penny. Thank you Mark, Fleur, Lumbi and Accra for your friendliness and hospitality. We loved every minute of our stay! We can’t wait to visit again!
