We as a family loved staying here. Really comfortable for a big family. Great braai area sheltered from the wind with wonderful sea views. I am not a fan of residential areas butbI did enjoy Kommetjie over what is supposed to be a busy weekend. Long walks and cold swims with very little humans.

Well sized house, private and on the beach. Very nice braai area and house and room layout worked well for 6 guests. We had a great time and will be back.

Beautiful beach house, perfect location. Since we traveled from abroad it would have been helpful to have beach chairs and beach towels and a laundry line. But we had a wonderful time anyway. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay!! The house was beautifully furnished, clean, and had all the needed amenities. Our host gave clear instructions and checked up on us throughout our stay. Perfect for a family gathering!! We would definitely return and recommend to anyone.

A lovely place offering both homely and luxurious surroundings. The egg chairs on the balcony were a delight on sunny days to watch the world go by. Large smart tv in the lounge was good with huge comfy sofas to relax on. Each bedroom was ensuite which was perfect for our family needs. There is a supermarket 2 minutes walk away with everything you could need, restaurants plentiful also within walking distance. Also around the corner was a Thai massage place which we tried, authentic treatments were offered but not for the feint hearted, they really work your muscles loose! Overall a lovely property in a very safe area, perfectly placed to get to the attractions. We are UK visitors and will definitely go again since our family live nearby.

It was wonderful stay, beautiful sea views, lovely restaurants, apartment well equipped. The only negative was that the floors needed a good clean

This place is a real gem. You can feel the warmth of a well loved but stylish family holiday house as soon as you enter. The layout is perfect for 2 families (or one large family) where everyone can spend time together in the communal area but also have privacy when they need. Our kids loved playing on the big rock in the garden and had hours of fun with the pebbles. The house was easy to keep clean and literally had everything we needed. Thank you for having us Uys and family! We’ll be back for sure.

Wat een heerlijke plek hebben Hanno & Nico! Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en brandschoon! Het zwembad is prachtig met heerlijk water. Verder zijn de gastheren ontzettend vriendelijk, reageren snel op berichten en hebben allerlei leuke tips voor restaurants en de omgeving! Echt een aanrader!

Highly Recommended! We had an great stay at this beautiful home nestled along the scenic coastline of St. James. The views of the ocean were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise, and being just a short walk from some tidal pools and Muizenberg Beach was a huge bonus. The host was exceptionally welcoming and attentive, offering great recommendations for restaurants, things to do, and hidden gems in the area. We would love to go back!

Highly recommended! We spent four glorious days at this cottage. Superb location - tranquil, a beautiful garden, amazing sunsets combined with spectacular ocean and mountain views. The cottage is delightful and the photos don’t do it justice. Bettina and Dieter are thoughtful and warm hosts. Thank you for making our holiday so special.

Tanya was thee absolute best ,a perfect host ,very helpful aswell as her helper ,the place was easy to find and I must say the pictures don’t do it any justice it’s a beautiful place clean and the kitchen has everything we needed for our stay ,the pool kept the kids busy as it was so hot ,she even gave us an extra day 🌸I must say she was one of the kindest individuals that have ever hosted me ,I appreciate all she did for myself and my family ..

Die Aussicht auf das Meer und auf die Bucht würde auch 6 Sterne bekommen, falls das möglich wäre. Alle 3 Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und mit eigenem Bad. Wir hatten zu viert reichlich Platz. Der Pool mit 'Cabrio-Dach' macht Spaß und hat den gleichen tollen Ausblick aufs Meer wie das Wohnzimmer. Insgesamt trotz des gehobenen Preises eine runde Sache. Wenn jemand gerne und viel selber kochen möchte, ist die Küche nur bedingt geeignet - trotzdem 5 Sterne, da die 4 Sterne für die Küche von den 6 Sternen für den Ausblick ausgeglichen werden.

A hidden gem in Camps Bay. Close to walk to cafes, restaurants and for sure to the beach. A nice small pool and a garage to park the rental car. We felt save and cosy. Kitchen and living room are well equipped. Bedroom and bathroom room fulfill its purpose. Some guests complained about the toilet inside the main bedroom, for us it wasn’t a problem just an „organizational“ thing. So, we have been the 3rd time to Capetown and this location was perfect for us as family with grownup kids. Location ideal to Sea Point or Clifton beaches and to the city center over Camps Bay drive.

Denis was an exceptional host—friendly and responsive. The space was comfortable, well-equipped, and felt like a home away from home. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape Town. Thank you, Denis, for a great experience!

We had never been to Langebaan and used this place while being on a road trip. great location, close to the sea - the place is perfect for summer with a nice protected courtyard. We had an awesome time in Langebaan.

We had a fabulous week and a bit in Maureen's lovely Woodbridge Island home. The house is spacious yet homely and we were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The outdoor area is very pretty and secluded and we enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings. Maureen is a warm and friendly host and always happy to help with any queries. We hope to visit again in the future!

There is nothing quite like falling asleep & waking up to the sounds of the sea. Rachelle's beach home is the epitome of South African West Coast style, especially the outside living area under the verandah. The inside is incredibly charming and every room is very well appointed. We enjoyed whiling away the hours, watching the world go by, waves rolling in, breathtaking sunsets followed by gazing at the Southern stars. Melkbos has a wide arrange of restaurants, most within walking distance and the supermarkets & shops are just 5 mins drive away for self catering options and sunset braai's. Whether you like to walk along the beach collecting shells or go surfing, the options are endless. The Swartland wine region is easily explorable from here as is central Cape Town. Such a wonderful relaxed environment, and next time we will be sure to stay for 2 weeks instead of just one.

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful and relaxing 4 night stay in Niel’s beach house. Although next to another house, it felt private. It has a wonderful view of the sea from the lounge, patio and front two rooms. The home is very comfortable and effectively decorated but some aspects of the house still require upgrading. We loved making use of the resort pool which was within 10 minutes walking distance. Niel was a very communicative and kind host. We recommend this getaway as a perfect antidote to city life.

We had the most amazing stay at Thyme and Tide. The house was perfect for my team’s strategic planning session - lots of space to work, enough bedrooms for each of us to have some privacy and areas to chill and have meals together. The location could not have been better - we could see dolphins play in the waves from the porch! Having Tinashe around to assist with wood and coffee pods was great! Thank you for a lovely stay!

A lovely get away holiday home in beautiful Kommetjie. Close to beach, promenade and restaurants. Lovely patio area with pool, outdoor braai, birds singing, large table with benches. Suited our family so well as we love to stay home and braai and play games round the large benched outdoor table.

Gerny was an amazing host. The house is beautiful and pristine and had everything we needed. We felt right at home from the moment we opened the door. We loved every moment. The views from braairoom is amazing.
