The Mochizuki district of Saku City, where "House of Waltz" is located, is known as Village of Horses and has long been a horse ranch where people and horses have a close relationship. To express our respect for these culture and history, we renovated a wooden house that offers a view of the horses spending time at a Equestrian Park. Within walking distance, you can visit Kasuga Onsen, boasting over 300 years of history and high-quality hot springs, a Equestrian Park, a tranquil park in nature.

The house is very modern and well-equipped, and the ideal size for two families to share. The high-quality washer-dryer was very useful. Renovated to be open, modern and spacious our chalet is only 20 minutes drive from Nagano City, Togakushi and Iizuna ski resorts. It is less than 5 minutes walk (or 1 min drive) to some cafes and restaurants and the new Nagano Forest Village. There, you can buy local produce, craft beers & wine, and walk around the beautiful area. We recommend driving to explore more around the highlands and snow tires (or chains) are a must have during winter. We are 1080m above sea level, its cool in summer!

Kitsune Cottage BLUE is a beautiful self-contained unit, built in the fall of 2016. At just under 100 square meters of functional space, the unit was designed by Hakuba Powder Lodge co-owner Hiroko Kowal. This cottage features a functional modern kitchen in a wide open living room area with a large dining table, sofa and TV. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms with space for up to 6 guests. Located in the heart of Echoland Hakuba’s main après ski and dining area.

During harvest you can eat delicious fruits and vegetables and rice.

Larch Peak Chalet features a warm wood interior, custom wooden furniture, and fully upgraded modern facilities. It is beautifully situated in a forested neighbourhood close to the Hirakawa River. Restaurants, bars, and a convenience store are all within easy walking distance. During the green season( from May to October) guests can also enjoy BBQs in the garden.
