It was everything a lake house should be. We relaxed, saw lots of wildlife and it was convenient to Chattanooga. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. I appreciate that it was stocked with paper products, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent and so forth so that we didn’t have to purchase every little thing and could just enjoy ourselves.

One of the best stays we have had in Chattanooga! Amazing views, spacious, and clean. Spotting eagles was definitely an added bonus!

We love staying here for our annual women’s retreat for church. We even saw a bald eagle this last time!

We came with friends for Thanksgiving and enjoyed our stay! The house was spacious, clean, and well stocked. Troy was very communicative and helpful when the downstairs heat wouldn't come on (which was quickly resolved). One thing to note - the lake was very low when we visited, which lead to disappointed children who wanted to fish. Other than that, we loved our time spent here! Hoping to be back in the summer!

Jennifer was an amazing host! She was very responsive! The house was beautiful. Plenty of room for our kiddos. They loved fishing off the huge dock and kayaking the lake. It was a great escape from our cold Michigan spring.

Had a really nice stay here! Comfortable beds and thoughtful touches around the house. Plenty of space and had everything we needed (lots of coffee, games, and good cooking supplies!). Also the windows were great and let in tons of natural light!

This was a nice cabin with plenty of space! We enjoyed staying here while in the area for work and having a roomy kitchen to cook our meals in. We'd definitely stay here again—especially during sandhill crane season with the Hiwassee Refuge right at your backdoor. Don't miss walking down to the water right after the sun comes up—it's magical with the early-morning fog.

The cabin was in the perfect location and close to DT Chattanooga. The sofa was big and comfortable. The keyless entry got stuck but the hosts contact was able to get us in quickly. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was fairly quite. I would stay here again.

We were only staying for a weekend and we checked in on Friday evening. We were able to enjoy a firepit by the river and make S'mores. We were a large group of nine, and accommodations were great! Plenty of room!. The teenagers enjoyed the foosball table. Saturday it rained hard all day and evening so we explored Chattanooga . We didn't get to really use the river since it rained (and there were tornado watchs and warnings all evening) but we still had a great time!

Mrs. P's place was absolutely amazing and a rare place to find. I looked at 3 different states for a rental by the lake but Mrs. P's property was the only property that offered what I was looking for. I contacted Mrs. P with questions & she immediately responded so I was able to book the same day. The house is to itself offering seclusion and privacy, which is my biggest want. The house was extremely clean which is always a plus with a child that's extremely allergic to dust mites. The house had plenty of room & Mrs. P made a awesome child "hangout" space that my daughter absolutely loved. We enjoyed fishing from the docks, walking the trail alongside the creek that runs through the property, sitting outside during the mornings watching the ducks & geese, which seem to hangout at Mrs. P's every morning we were there. Mrs. P had extras available, like a canoe, kayaks, games, smores. Mrs. P's oasis was worth every penny & a stay you will never forget. ONLY regret- not staying longer.
