Fantastic home in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Lots of amenities. The hot tub was amazing! The view to the lake was beautiful. Lots of thoughtful details, like plentiful towels. Nicole was a great host. Would love to return in summer or fall to fully experience the natural beauty of Michigan and make use of more of the amenities.

The house is beautifully furnished and decorated. Very clean, comfortable linen, plenty of towels (including beach towels). So nice of them to let us use the bikes and extra beach accessories, including a push-wagon that was perfect to take the baby to the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed and all of great quality and new. The dryer is old and makes a huge noise (a note on top of it warned us), so I suggest to turn it on when everyone is either awake or away. The neighborhood is residential and very friendly and quiet. There’s a nice park within a short walk. The beach is beautiful and also within walking or biking distance. We chose to drive to the farthest point of the beach where there are bathrooms, a snack shack and a nice and fun restaurant. It is paid parking (May-Sept). The hosts were super helpful and responded any questions quickly. We certainly recommend the place!

We enjoyed our weekend at Segrid's home. The beach was so nice and close for walks and the sound of the waves on our fall retreat was an added, peaceful, bonus!

My wife and I had a few days off for a fall break. Dennis' place was a perfect spot. The drive there and the surrounding woods were vibrant with color. The place was comfortable, well-suited for a short or long stay, and was stocked with plenty to do. The short path to the lake is great, and the dock provides a lovely view. We spent hours just sitting on the dock chairs reading. We were fortunate to have beautiful sunny days. We took the short drive into Traverse City to go to Trattoria Stella, one of our very favorite restaurants. We also took a short hike out back to connect to the Mt Minnie trail and thoroughly enjoyed that hike. Being minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, and Franfort was a perfect location. Our last evening, we went 15 minutes to Peterson Beach and watched the sun set and stayed to watch all the stars emerge in the darkness. It was amazing! We didn't, but we could have built a fire there on the beach.. We hope to return. Thanks Dennis!

the porch is fabulous. lots of space for everyone. we did not need it, but the secret room was adorable. we would definitely come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was so nice and clean and very open inside. Had just about everything we needed for our two night stay. I can't say enough good things about the beautiful property. Loved walking the trail in the woods with our dogs. Wish we had more time, but would love to come back and stay in this home again. Our stay at this cabin was phenomenal! With its 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, it perfectly accommodated our group's multiple families across various age groups. Not only was it a tremendous value, but its proximity to Traverse City made it an ideal choice for us. We were delighted by the cabin's cleanliness and the spacious, open layout. The endless supply of firewood was a blessing, especially during the unexpectedly chilly nights. Ryan was outstanding—responsive and helpful, making our experience smooth and enjoyable. This was our first visit to this area, and it surpassed our expectations. Although we typically kayak on the Oscoda River, we ventured to the Manistee River (just south of dam) this time and found it to be a much nicer trip. It’s safe to say that we’ve found our new summer kayaking destination. Overall amazing stay, would recommend!

A great birthday get away…. Close to things we wanted to see and quite at night when we returned! Very friendly and communicative with directions and answering all our questions!

Alicia is the best host ever. Always flexible if needed. I always feel right at home when I book with her. You need nothing other than your gear and clothes. Thank you for being such an amazing host for all the years I have been coming up there.

The wind turbines were pretty cool to see and listen to. Also at night time you can see the stars clearly, a great view to witness.

There is not enough room here to rave about Grand Traverse Therapy. It went above and beyond the amenities listed, had spectacular spaces inside, everything you could imagine to enhance relaxation and the "therapy" name. The rooms are gorgeous, furniture comfy, more than enough places at the table, plus a great breakfast/lunch bar for casual dining comfort, more than enough table service (which is not always the case) that was beautiful and fit the space perfectly, more than enough towels (also not always the case), a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of space for several cooks to enjoy working together, plenty of storage space everywhere, great lighting with lots of different options for differing tastes and "atmosphere", plenty of options for leisure and relaxation (massage chair, pool, ping pong, foosball, game tables, sectional couches, lovely deck with eating area. . . it was a spectacular experience for our much-needed relaxation and restoration.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean. The back yard was perfect for our blind doggie to wander around. The walking trail wasn't long, but it had a big hill so my heart got pumping. We would definately stay here again!
