The Desert Pearl was a perfect spot for all the activities we had planned. As first-time visitors to Big Bend, we spent most of our time exploring the trails. It was nice to get back to the Pearl and relax among the stars. I loved the plants, cactus and a couple of rabbits that came around to visit. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to revisit in the future as there is lots to do around this area.

A unique property reflecting the pioneering spirit of the West Texas Chihuahuan desert and offering the best way to appreciate its beauty. Completely off the grid (although you’d never know it given the modern comforts ) and surrounded by wonderful scenery and serenity. Sunrises, hikes, access to Big Bend and its beauty, Terlingua nearby, sunsets, gorgeous night skies and a really cool spot to stay. Can highly recommend!

Absolutely perfect in every way. Had the best stay in this paradise in the desert. Such a beautiful retreat after a long day in the park; the views are unbeatable: the house was super comfortable to relax in. So glad I made this decision to book, this has easily become one of our favorite air bnb’s over the last 8 years. Thanks Jason, highly recommend booking to anyone considering.

Such a peaceful and serene paradise! We loved the simplicity of the residence as well as the nostalgia. This is a great way to renovate a family camper! The locations is great too, we watched the sunrise and sunset every day! The location is amazing too, there are hills/mountains on both sides so you get a fantastic view of the sunrise and sunset! What a lovely way to unwind and relax after hiking the mountains and desert at Big Bend! This residence is 15 minutes away from the entrance to the park, you can't beat that!

Enjoyed the Aframe house, well equipped and stocked to BBQ, cook, relax outside and star gaze. Esteban answered all my questions and was very helpful. He even has an ATV for rent as an add on. Tips: download a map and the location. It’s not in Terlingua like the Air BNB map shows but it isn’t too far. Sign to get there is dark and hard to catch at night so map it before you go out there. If during daylight - no prob, easy to spot.

Such a serene, peaceful and quiet get away. The Lodge was so relaxing and comfortable. This was a perfect and relaxing vacation for our family. It was close to Big bend and the stars were incredible. There were cute thoughtful touches to welcome us to the cabin. The telescope was amazing and the brochures to Big Bend were helpful to give us direction in the park. Great location for a peaceful, quiet and still getaway. Would definitely stay here again!

had a very nice stay at Roadhouse Rentals. Everything was just as advertised, very clean and comfortable. The cabins are out in the desert, right on the main road, but you feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere, especially at night and in the morning. Area is very remote, so don't expect a lot of variety in the restaurants, but you won't go hungry with a little planning. Cabins are a quick 15 minute drive to the park, get up early and enjoy the best part of the day, hike the basin, and then head back for a siesta in the afternoon, then back into town for a nice dinner. Cabins are suitable for setting up a telescope, with no security or commercial lights of any kind on the property.

A great little spot to say! Jenny gave clear instructions on how to find the place and check in. Everything was great! Jenny and her friend were very helpful when we had unexpected trouble with a motorcycle. The place is in a great spot with food right across the street and easy access to Big Bend.

Simply amazing! I don’t think you can find a better location near Big Bend National Park. The yurt was exactly as described and pictured. Very comfortable, stocked with everything you need for a short stay. The views are incredible!
