Had a great stay though the weather was not on our side. The house is lovely. Beds were very comfortable and fab having the pool option on the days that the wind made the beach wild and rough. The location was amazing as well and walks on beach which is across the road were fantastic.

We had a wonderful relaxing time at this farmstay. Sally and Simon (and family) made us very welcomed. We had some great walks and were able to rest and recover after a few hectic days. Due to bridge damage we needed to take an extra long drive to reach the cottage, but believe me it was worth it. Please do not be put off by the longer trip.

Our family (2 adults + 2 kids) had a wonderful stay at Anna & Marc's stunning home. The house was perfect and the property with a trampoline, BMX tracks and even a football goal post, was heaven for the children. Super close to the surf beaches of Wainui, we can't wait to come back. The super friendly cats were an added bonus, with the kids getting a cat each to cuddle up at night 😻 (we have pets at home).

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Rachelle’s bach in Mahia! The place was incredibly comfortable, spotlessly clean, tidy, and exactly as described on the website — even better in person. Check-in was a breeze, and Rachelle’s communication throughout the entire process was outstanding. She was friendly, responsive, and made everything so easy and stress-free. It was clear she genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. The bach had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We would 100% recommend Rachelle’s place to anyone visiting Mahia. Thank you Rachelle for sharing your bach with our family.

Our stay was perfect. Update to our last stay, the hot water runs fine, thank you for tending to that in such a short time. I recommend this beautiful home to everyone. The home is spacious & warm. I love the all day sun. Thank you to the owners for sharing your home and once again to Kirsten for being a great host.

Such a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. Highly recommend for an escape, so close to a beautiful beach and only a short drive into the city. We definitely stay again next time a trip to Gisborne is on the cards. Really felt like a home away from home.
