The Walkers Rest Gated onto National Trust Forest

The walkers rest is a self contained 1 bedroom annexe attached to our family home. With it's own private entrance, garden and hot tub. There is direct access to The National Trust Wenlock Edge Forest, with breath taking views, miles of walking trails, bridle paths and cycle routes. Much Wenlock is a 2 min drive or a short walk through the forest to quaint shops and pubs. Shrewsbury, Iron bridge, Ludlow, Buildwas Abbey, Church Stretton, The Wrekin are some of the places within a short drive.

The cottage is only 2 miles from Much Wenlock and 5 miles from the world heritage site of Ironbridge where you'll find many museums as well as canoeing, rafting and fishing on the River Severn. Ruth's Retreat is a Scandinavian Log Cabin with hot tub in a beautiful spot surrounded by the South Shropshire countryside. It has a large kitchen with deep freeze, fridge, washing machine, cooker, dishwasher and all the equipment required. Two bedrooms, one with views of the hills, other with a garden view. Smart TV, and free WIFI & full Central heating. Large sofa in lounge area. Big decking Area. No pets or children, couples only. We have CCTV cameras which record 24hours a day outside .

This is a great location for lovers of both town and country. Only a short distance to the magnificent Shropshire Hills which offer excellent hiking and cycling and also only a short drive to Shrewsbury Town Centre which is famous for its medieval buildings, Norman castle and Abbey. The town is great for shopping and socialising and hosts a large number of independent retailers, excellent restaurants, traditional pubs and cocktail bars. We have good internet access and a smart TV.

Petit Blythe is self-contained and adjoins a charming cottage within a beautiful setting close to the River Severn. The ground floor features a sofa bed (additional fee for using sofa bed £15 per night) , TV and lounge area with a small dining table plus kitchenette. The upstairs bedroom has a double bed with ensuite shower room. Country walks are on the doorstep and it is an easy 20/25-minute​ stroll into town, passing Theatre Severn and many bars and restaurants.
