We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

I would 100% stay here again. The apartment was fantastic, extremely clean and cozy! We didn't have many concerns or requirements during our stay, so we didn't have much interaction with Marsha outside of our check in and check out instructions. Check in was super easy and directions were clear. Check out was also extremely simple and had extremely basic requests for checking out. If you are looking to stay in the area, I would for sure recommend staying with Marsha.

Sarah’s place was beautiful and exactly what we needed for a restful week away! We loved the included amenities and made sure to put them to good use. Whenever we needed something, Sarah was very prompt to answer and assist us! We were very pleased with our experience and would recommend the beach house or one of her other two properties at the Inspire Beach Resort.

Cabin Bjorn was everything we expected - and more! Set on a beautiful property surrounded by tall trees and the Irondale River, it truly is a slice of paradise. We were so fortunate to spend four days here, relaxing and unwinding. Cassidy’s a fantastic host and we hope to be back this summer!

Wanda’s cozy little cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing winter getaway! Her place exceeded the photos, as soon as we walked in Wanda already had the wood stove fireplace going so that the place was warm and cozy when we arrived. She was extremely pleasant and responsive when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Would definetley recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

We chose to cancel our trip to South Carolina due to the current USA administration's policies. We opted instead for an Ontario staycation and Highpoint Hideaway checked all of our boxes. It is so cozy and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed the wood stove, the hot tub, the ambience and the natural setting. We went for some lovely walks and made all of our meals in the well stocked kitchen. It was important to us to have our dog, and the cottage was a perfect spot for him. I highly recommend Highpoint Hideaway!

An amazing stay with great hosts. The space is fab - very tastefully curated. You feel cozy as soon as you set foot into it. The private hot tub and sauna experience are an icing on the cake. The hosts were friendly, responsive and provided clear instructions. Not just that, they also added a personal touch by leaving us a welcome note/card and a bottle of wine. Can't recommend this property/experience enough.

Probably the cleanest and best equipped cabin I have ever been. Exactly as as described and on the photos. Very strong recommendation for everyone who loves the nature and privacy.

Great place for a quite peaceful getaway. The hosts took great care of us. The cabin had everything we needed for our duration of the stay. Ansolutely loved our stay. Points for bbq facilities prividing us as much firewood as we wanted keeping us warm and cozy the host’s attention to detail with regards to meeting customer’s needs. spotless, clean showerroom

Our stay was amazing! We went in the beginning of October and there was hardly anyone there. The environment was absolutely stunning, the fall rhapsody was in full effect. There also was a tone of stuff to do, like a dog park, hiking, canoeing, badminton, etc. the cabin itself was small but very cozy. Just remember to bring warm clothes and bedding if you go in the fall because there is just a small heater. We were very comfortable though. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

What a beautiful place to visit. Plenty of trails to hike and explore with our dogs . The cabin was so clean and cozy . It was nice to see a few of the farm animals as well. Highly recommend the ranch .

This place exceeded all our expectations. The host is phenomenal. His responses were always fast, extremely friendly and understanding. He was very accommodating with our date changes (due to a military move) and made our process super easy. The place is stunning. Even better than the pictures. It’s open, spacious, with lots of modern, high end touches. I have already been recommending this place to all my friends. It’s a must stay- in the winter or summer. Our second stay at Nicks retreat, just as great as the first time! 40 mins drive to Algonquin park, cute bakery and shops in maynooth and a large yard for a full game of football

Christine’s place was absolutely beautiful and literally perfect for a cottage long weekend. the pictures don’t even do it justice. the dock out looked such a beautiful lake, great for water activities!! the beds worked out perfectly for 5 people, thought u could definitely fit 7, maybe 8. the kitchen was equipped with quite enough, and the bathroom had sanitary products which was so convenient. there’s also a soft tub which was super warm and so relaxing, and an entire bar room with darts overlooking the water! we had so so so much fun here and it was seriously such a beautiful cottage, don’t let the lack of reviews fool you!! absolutely loved this so much:)

We had the perfect stay while at “Rowe’s Cabin” starting the new year in a quiet and peaceful setting. The hosts shared the story of the land and the cabin, including its history, adding to the experience and atmosphere for us that we really valued. They recommended going to Barron Canyon and we made sure to make a stop on our way out and it was the perfect ending to or trip, we were the only ones on the trail making it so much more whimsical. We snowshoed around the cabin and quietly sat in the window, playing uno, in the evening watching deer and wildlife coming up to the cabin for an hour or two. It had snowed the day we got there so it felt extra disconnected and relaxing. The hosts made sure we felt comfortable and safe in the cabin, we often are out in the woods during all times of the year and the hosts make this cabin experience in the woods fun and within reach to anyone new to the being in the woods or have more experience in the woods.

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway , somewhere rustic,quiet and close to water. We found Janet’s cabin just what we were looking for. Everything from the check in to the amenities met our expectations. Would definitely recommend Alexanne cottage rentals for your getaway adventure. We feel totally relaxed and rested ! Really nice place and very friendly host. It’s a beautiful spot for friends, couples or family with kids. A nice escape from the city for a weekend.

Ali's place was a great get away for couples! Very peaceful location, plenty to do at the cottage and nearby locations. Do keep in mind though there is no wifi and cell reception is weak, though they do provide a signal booster when needed. Highly recommended!

This was our third time staying at the Dream Cabin and each time is better than the last. Roman and Irina are the ideal hosts with their quick response times, easy check-in instructions, lovely hospitality and overall friendly people who never hesitate to answer questions or assist in any way. It’s truly a place of paradise and we will be revisiting for many more years to come. Thanks Roman and Irina!!

This Romantic Cabin is a must to go visit , it is in spotless conditions and there is lots to do around , surrounded with beautiful forest view , inside you have everything you ever wanted staring from kitchen items and spices down to sunglasses , very well oriented and easy to use , nice bathtub with hot and cold water , we never ran out of power or water plenty to use. Beautiful fire pit with lots of wood to use, Peter is very helpful host and the best host out there , and will respond immediately if you needed help with anything. Instructions are straight forward. My girlfriend and I are really looking forward to coming back to this beautiful romantic cabin !!!! ITS A MUST TRY !!!!

This is a wonderful and cozy cabin experience for a group of 4. The place has a lovely history and is preserved that way with attention to aesthetics that take you back in time. Debbi is a warm host and although we didn’t get to meet in person she was quick to respond and provided all the necessary details during our stay. Good parking space, private location and beautiful nursery and nature around the property. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Algonquin provincial park during the fall season. My husband and I had a really lovely time here for my birthday. It was the perfect weekend getaway from the city; private, quiet, and surrounded by trees in beautiful Baysville. Our dogs loved being able to run around the property and go on daily walks to the lake. The cottage itself was cozy and charming and had all the modern comforts we could need. The bathroom was especially nice! Though it was a chilly/rainy weekend, we stayed warm by the fire, used the SmartTV to catch up on shows, and powered our way through a thousand piece puzzle! All in all very relaxing. The hosts were also friendly, responsive and flexible; we’d book again!
