Relax in this contemporary rural bungalow on the forest and close to the sea. Walk out onto the New Forest, enjoy the scenic garden looking over fields packed with wildlife, or enjoy cycling along quiet lanes amongst grazing ponies, donkeys and cattle. Two good pubs are within 1.5 miles in either direction and the historic towns of Beaulieu and Lymington are 3 miles and 4.5 miles respectively away. The quaint historic shipyard of Bucklers Hard nearby has a museum, pub and marina. IOW close too.

New Forest at it’s best. Peaceful base to explore NF. 2 king-size beds (one is a 4-poster, the other a sleigh bed) A single bed can be added easily, upon request. Kitchenette has sink, micro, mini-fridge, toaster, kettle. Walkable to 2 pubs, Monty’s in Beaulieu & Royal Oak at Hilltop. Fairweathers (walkable) does brekkie. Private access is via spiral staircase to rear of house, not for those with accessibility issues, but it's fine to use internal house stairs. All dogs welcome, no extra charge.

Charming Rural Cottage, New Forest National Park

Oak Tree Cottage is nestled on the edge of the village of Pilley, near the coastal town of Lymington. With forest tracks on the doorstep, it is ideally situated for exploring the countryside of the New Forest National Park and villages along the South coast. The local ponies and donkeys are frequent visitors to our lane, as they roam freely in the immediate area. The cottage is tastefully furnished and well equipped, with ample parking, and barbecue provided for the summer. Wifi speed 150 mbps.

The Garden Wing is a very special tranquil place

This unique place has a style all its own. Designed in a Japanese way with it's own Water Garden, terrace and boardwalk. Ideal for a family and children will love The Garden Wing, but there is access to the Japanese water garden, and bedroom 3+4 have unguarded stairs to unuseable mezzanine bunks ( see photos). Located in the centre of Beaulieu, this beautifully refurbished 17th Century cottage is an ideal base from which to relax and explore the New Forest. Situated on a quiet road in the beautiful village, you can walk to Monty's Inn pub nearby for dinner and visit the popular cafe opposite for breakfast. You may even see donkeys walking along the High Street! The cottage has a very spacious ground floor with an open kitchen/large dining area plus a cosy lounge where you can enjoy the log burner.

A cosy wood cabin located where forest and sea meet in the market town of Lymington, we are walking distance from the town quay and high street which offers many restaurants, pubs and shops as well as the outstanding Saturday market. A few minutes drive will take you out into the New Forest where you may see the ponies, donkeys, cattle and pigs which roam free. The studio is set in a fenced off area of our garden which is secure and dog friendly, we offer off street parking and bike storage.
