It was great. It was the perfect place, even when the weather turned out to be rainy, it still provided a great outdoor area away from the elements!

We booked Lisa’s place for Beach Hop 2025 and we were delighted with the position and the state of the house. Lisa’s communication was awesome (super quick) and nothing was a problem. The house has everything you could possibly want for a week or a long weekend and the layout means there is always somewhere that’s out of the wind or in the sun. It has a great indoor/outdoor flow with tons of deck/entertainment space. The bedrooms are all a good size and we all found the beds comfortable and fresh. We’d definitely book again - it was perfect for us and our extended family of adult kids.

This home is so lovely , it is presented beautifully and will definately be back . Host was awesome and left fruit and Easter eggs which was very thoughtful .

Loved our stay! Wonderful location, incredibly clean and tidy and had everything we could have ever needed. The outdoor space was perfect for kids and adults alike. Plenty of room for everyone. Kathryn was incredibly responsive and helpful. Couldn’t recommend highly enough

Fabulous place to stay! Great location. The house was very clean and tidy. Well equipped kitchen with every thing you need. There is a lovely outdoor area out the front and the spa was a luxury. There are three good sized bedrooms, the beds are quite firm, but fine for a short stay. Gina and George are so kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again!

This was our second time stating at Renees place and it was just as good as the first time. Such a great spot with plenty of room for our group. Convenient location and nice quiet neighbourhood. Clean and comfortable.

Beautiful home. Stunning location. Ian's home was clean, spacious, clutter free, and so comfortable to live in for a few days. Whiritoa is very small -the main highlights for us were the beach (5 mins walk), hikes, and local general store (10 mins walk). The beach was only safe to swim at on the weekends when the life guards were on duty (due to the big waves), but there is a lagoon at the north end of the beach that is calm and beautiful -tree swings, rock pools, etc. The house was easy to find, had ample and very comfortable seating for our family of 5 both indoors and out. The design and decor are thoughtful. Best espresso machine we've come across in an Airbnb! Beds were very comfortable. Windows and sliding glass doors on all sides to let the light and breeze in. Water pressure was amazing. Thank you to Ian for his very responsive communication and for accommodating a late check out! Highly recommend.

Great place for two couples to stay and even families with he excellent layout. So close to the beach too. Loved the spa pool and all the amenities. We had a great stay. The hosts were great in communication and had a great check in and out times.

The apartment was great. Very convenient location. The apartment is spacious, clean and modern with everything you need.

This was our second stay here and we loved it just as much as the first. The apartment is private, clean, and has everything you need. The pool and spa facilities are fantastic — such a great way to relax. A big bonus is Oliver’s café just across the road, which serves excellent coffee and a great variety of food. Highly recommend!

Beautiful space with great access to beach, local shops. Friendly, generous host. We would definitely come back here again--and would recommend to friends without hesitation.

Had a lovely stay. 10-15 min walk into town, has a full kitchen and just felt like home. Great food recommendations in the book!

Thank you Cindy for a relaxing stay at your place, communication throughout has been excellent, private and relaxed environment with such a welcoming host who was excellent at sharing local info and recommendations. We had a peaceful stay and look forward to returning to stay again soon.

Vicky’s place was great! Perfect for the 4 of us, located right near the Whangamata high street and a great view over the town and of the hills in the distance. The lounge was comfortable to relax in, the balcony got a lot of sun and the flat had all the amenities you could want. The instructions for finding the building, getting in and where to park, etc. were very clear and Vicky was incredibly helpful and responsive to messages. Would definitely stay again

We were looking for a beach property to just wind down for a few days, and we certainly found it. The photos of Robert and Maranda's place on Airbnb say it all, but once you get there, its the 'sound' of the beach that sealed it for us. We simply dropped our bags and went for a walk on the beach. Greeted the next day with an amazing sunrise, right from the door !! Great set up and layout inside. Really comfortable. It just worked for us, and as silly as it sounds, the little night light in the bathroom is brilliant ! Everything local ( shops, cafes, restaurants) is all within easy reach. Robert & Maranda's place is in a great location, with the beach side town of Whangamata a short walk behind you, and that awesome beach & bay right in front of you. Lastly, Robert, cheers for the tip for a great meal out on a Wed night !

We had a fabulous stay for the Beach Hop. The location is perfect for a super close walk to town and the views from the house are just beautiful with the beach just across the lawn. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. We had a hiccough with no loo paper to start with but that got sorted. Please note there is just one loo upstairs.
