Located just off the main street of Haverigg its the perfect location to explore the beach just around the corner (2min walk) Shop, Chippy and Pub 1 minute walk away. Aqua park and Nature reserve is also close by. We are also a good base for exploring the lake district with Coniston only being a 35min drive. Scafell Pike is close by too with a 45min drive. Lounge has sofa’s, TV, WiFi & patio doors to enclosed decking & seating over the boatyard & lake. Family dogs are welcome. Guests have use of the lake and can bring your own boats, kayaks, water boards etc. April to Sept bookings for the water park can be made at the Ski Centre. Hodbarrow Nature Reserve is within walking distance. Parking for 2 cars at the lodge further free parking

The property is close to Hodbarrow which is an RSPB Nature Reserve and it is also on the coast with some stunning dog friendly beaches to walk along. You can walk Black Combe and be rewarded with stunning views, or try wakeboarding, sea fishing or go horse riding on the beach.

Relax and enjoyed our cabin, it’s deck and hot tub or sit in the orchard and watch our hens. During winter when our smallholding settles down awaiting spring it’s a great base to explore the area. You will be the only guests and have the ten peaceful acres to yourself. You may bring One dog for a small fee.
