This space was perfect for my stay- it had everything i needed. Location was incredible and hosts were super responsive!!

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and quiet and there was plenty of room for our group of 10 to spread out. The beds were comfortable and the sheets soft. Plenty of fluffy towels. Good, fresh coffee beans. Grilled steaks one night and had a big variety of seasonings to choose from. Grandkids voted it their favorite Airbnb. Mahalo!

Chris is an amazing host and is very clear in his communication. House was exactly as described. Very clean and well maintained. Kitchen was stuffed with a lot of condiments and a lot of attention to details. Yard had many fruit bearing trees. A quick drive to nice beaches, restaurants, grocery stores etc. All in all we were very satisfied.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Peter, Lori, and Maggie were incredibly kind and responsive, and the little touches throughout the home made it feel extra special. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat—highly recommended!

Susan's place in Kea'au is beautiful, convenient to Hilo and Volcano National Park, yet right on the ocean. Surrounded by the sights, sounds and smells of the ocean make this a great place to get away from the city.

We are so glad we started our vacation on the Hilo side. Super close to Rainbow Falls and only an hour to Volcano National Park. You can literally cross the street and take a dip in the water. It’s also close to all the restaurants. We loved this home. Plenty of room for everyone and privacy. We will remember this stay!

Wonderful location, private with beautiful grounds. Loved watching the wildlife in the mornings. Kitchen was well stocked, had a bit of trouble with the stove, but finally figured it out. Everything looked exactly like the photos, so no surprises. Would definitely recommend, especially as the host was very helpful and responsive.

Serene and peaceful! Just about everything needed to make all the typical activities convenient, including all of the equipment, beach towels and chairs, etc. A very quiet and private environment. Can’t wait to come back!

Great location. Right on the water. It was a little hard to find due to foliage covering the address. More specific details would have been nice. There aren’t a lot of restaurants open for dinner but it was quiet and peaceful. The ocean sounded spectacular. Host took awhile to respond hit luckily we weren’t that needy. Bedrooms downstairs were kinda musty. We didn’t have any issues with the hot water. Overall, I would recommend this place. Great spot on the north shore. Not really good for snorkeling or surfing but great for swimming. We saw honu while drinking our morning coffee

Mary’s home was perfect for our family of four. We have two young children and Anini beach was perfect! Just across the street is an access path to the beach. Soft sand with crystal clear calm shallow water, perfect for snorkeling and just splashing around. We even saw a sea turtle. The house is much better then the pictures, beautiful plantation style interior with a screened in dining area and lani to enjoy the morning sun. Our kids loved the out door shower and all beach equipment supplied at the house. My one comment is that it can be loud at night with roosters and cars passing by. If you bring ear plugs you’ll be fine. We can’t wait to come back.

Amazing! Don’t let the secret out! Spent a week, felt immersed in culture/community experience. HOST elevated the whole stay w/ deep knowledge about area, flora, fauna, ecology, culture, mythology…..a hidden gem! He spent treasured time with us, making memories + solid friendships. He taught kids how to make leis w/ orchids; picked three coconuts in yard, split them, let us taste milk/meat in all stages; pointed us to local affordable spots - Wed nights at Uncle Robert’s, old lava flows overtaking roads/shores, great beaches/tide pools with sea turtles/cucumbers, farmers markets, waterfalls/boiling pots, hot pools, active/inactive volcano sites, fishing charter w/ Malama Charters (saw whales, caught Mahi Mahi); told of Pele’s tears & natives’ offerings, helped us feel the life of the island. Host and crew work hard & it shows. Want to take backyard and kitchen sink home! Beds, hot tub, cool pool, showers are perfect. Geckos, frogs, toads galore. Will be back! Until we see you again!

This is an awesome place! The private cottage on Bruce's Pineapple farm made our vacation stay extra special in so many ways. It was a real treat to be away from the condo crowds and yet still able to easily get around to various beaches, shops, and restaurants. The local beaches are stunning, and a real treat to enjoy being so close to the farm. Bruce is super attentive with communication and offered many useful tips on places to go, how to get there, and things not to miss. This was one of the most important things for us, and his pineapple farm tour was also a special treat. We all know how many hours it takes to research the right place to stay, so if you are contemplating his place, look no further! I am already planning when we can return to spend more time here.
