We really enjoyed our time in Hilo. Richard's house was a great space for our family. Definitely a chill, summer house vibe. It had everything we needed, and the view out the picture windows was stunning. We loved the huge tree in the front yard. We spent a lot of time at Richardson Beach. Snorkeling was really great. We would love to return.

We loved our stay here. Very comfortable and spacious. Walking distance to a shopping/dining plaza, access to a swimming pool and recreational area, and next to a beautiful (though steep and can be slippery when wet) hike down to the water. We had a wonderful time. Thank you, Kurt!

Great location and easy walk to the beach - not a crazy busy part of the beach which we loved too. Spent a lot of time on the lanai just taking in the beauty and warm sunshine! The condo worked really well for our family of 4. The inside of the place is pretty dark just because of the positioning of the unit and greenery on the lanai - wasn’t a negative for us but I know some people prefer bright spaces.

Great price for the location - close to everything and only a couple blocks from the beach. Place was easy to find and get up to and the room was clean and cozy. Hosts gave great information and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Would happily stay again!

Mrs. Barbara was very good at giving us her time every time we had a question about something regarding the condominium. The truth is that my family's stay there was very pleasant. Thanks to her being very kind the whole time. This is something very important that I want to mention. I had to return the unit at 11am, but our flight was not until 4:30 and she allowed us to leave our luggage there for a few more hours. I really appreciate this because our luggage was safe the whole time we were gone.

Great place to stay right by the beach, also lots of walkable things around like coffee shops, convince stores, and restaurants!

Peaceful neighborhood, everyone was nice and it was really close to the beach - exactly what we were looking for!

This place looked exactly like the photos—such a great value for the price! It’s conveniently located near everything, and the host even provides parking and access to a car, which was super helpful. The space was spotless, and oh my gosh, the bed was incredibly comfortable! We’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you for the amazing stay! Just one note: I saw some comments about the parking spot being wet and tight. Yes, it’s true—but the water wasn’t bad at all, and honestly, it rains in the area, so it’s to be expected. The parking is tight, so if you’re not a confident driver, it might be a bit challenging. But my husband and I had no issues at all.

(1) 전반적인 만족도 : 매우만족 - 이유1 : 수영장이 넓고 깊으며(일부 구역은 깊이가 180cm를 초과하므로 주의 필요), 각종 물놀이 도구(튜브, 핀 등)가 갖추어져 있고, 따뜻한 물이 공급되는 자쿠지(30분 타이머로 조절)에서 안락하게 휴식을 즐길 수 있습니다. - 이유2 : 숙소내 바베큐 시설에서 연기가 많이 나는 조리가 가능하고 실내 부엌에도 인덕션, 전자레인지 등 충분한 도구가 갖추어져 있습니다. - 이유3 : 충분한 갯수의 세면도구(수건, 휴지 등)가 준비되어 있으며, 청소상태가 우수하여 여러명(성인6명, 영유아1명)이 쾌적하게 투숙할 수 있었습니다. - 이유4 : 숙소 내 각종 시설(수영장 자쿠지, 바베큐 시설 등)의 사용방법에 대하여 상세하고 친절하게 설명을 들을 수 있었고, 숙소 주변의 추천 관광지(ex. 마쿠우 파머스 마켓)에 대한 안내를 제공받았습니다. - 이유5 : 주차장 출입문의 개폐가 키패드 또는 무선키로 가능하여 편리하게 차량의 출입이 가능했고 실내에 주차가 가능하여 비가 많이 오는 날에도 차량에 승하차하는데 어려움이 없었습니다. (2) 사소한 아쉬운 점 - 아쉬움1 : 해풍의 영향 등으로 인해 창문의 개폐를 위한 조작 핸들이 부식되어 파손되어 있거나 고착된 경우가 있어서 일부 창문의 경우 열고 닫는데 어려움이 있었습니다. - 아쉬움2 : 모든 출입문마다 방충망이 설치되어 있었으나 체크인 할때 숙소내에서 모기를 여러마리 발견하였고, 체크아웃 할때까지 모기에게 여러번 물렸습니다. (3) 다른 투숙객을 위한 조언 - 조언1 : 힐로 시내 중심지에서 다소 거리가 있으므로(차량 편도 30분) 여행경로를 계획할때 유의할 필요가 있습니다. - 조언2 : 저녁에는 정원에서 곤충이 우는 소리가 다소 크게 들리므로 소리에 민감한 경우에는 귀마개(ex. 3M) 등을 준비할 필요가 있습니다. - 조언3 : 1층 바닥(석재)은 2층 바닥(목재)과는 달리 발바닥에 이물질이 많이 묻으므로 실내화를 준비할 필요가 있습니다. 끝.
