We had a lovely stay at this private and peaceful place. The surrounds were simply stunning and it was great to be able to enjoy the outdoors undercover on the deck - even when it was raining. Also very fortunate to have been able to bring our dog with us.

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect and the room was beautiful—clean, cozy, and peaceful. We especially loved the apple trees around the property—the apples were delicious! The host was very friendly and welcoming, and their cat was absolutely adorable. We’d love to come back again with our family next time. Highly recommended!

This venue was exactly what we were after. It is rustic, and cozy, and it was what we were expecting. It is dog friendly, which was great because we took our German shepherd. The bathroom is spacious and well set up. We kept our luggage there as well. The kitchenette had everything we needed: jug, microwave, electric frying pan, and outside at the wine bar a weber BBQ and an air fryer. Pete was fantastic and stocked the fridge with bacon, eggs, bread and butter, and a bottle of wine. It was incredibly thoughtful and generous of him, and we were delighted to make bacon and egg butties one cold morning! Pete also left a bag of dog treats which our girl would've devoured except she has a tightly controlled diet due to allergies. Again though, so incredibly thoughtful! Pete had also set up the brazier ready for a fire, with plenty of wood. We had two lovely evenings outside by the fire! Pete is a kind and thoughtful host, and so helpful! Would highly recommend.

Wonderful cottage in the middle of a beautiful orchard. Loved the bed and pillows. Spacious, warm and private. Tina was great host. Perfect place for me as I attended an event at Tuki Tuki Christian camp.

This ia a unique place with the conversion of a shearer's quarters. The external access to each room was authentic to its past. The location was private in being on a farm up in the hills but still close enough to the coast or towns if desired. Communication was great and Hannah was flexible to our change of numbers and arrival date. Margot greeted us warmly and then left us to ourselves - perfect.

Fabulous home away from home, extremely comfortable and beautiful home. Perfect location and space for a large group. We loved our stay.

I had a beautiful 5 night stay at Kelly’s and Nigel’s Cottage. Very nicely done on their beautiful land! It was nice driving home to my cottage every afternoon after a long few days spending at the beach for my daughter’s sports events. Cottage is so well looked after and I had everything I needed. Loved all of it! Nigel and Kelly are definitely super hosts! Very approachable and kind.

This is a great spot to stay! Close and easy access to Havelock North and not far to go to Napier or Hastings. Enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend :)

Dawn is a super star host. The space was beautiful, and every detail was thoughful. My daughter was very eager to look around and Dawn was so sweet and took her on a tour. Not one complaint could be made, although my daughter would say there was, she only wished we were staying longer! Thanks again!

Fabulous stay. We chose Rural retreat as we were going to a wedding near by and it was Easter. Very well appointed and very comfortable. Thanks Claire for making our time there so relaxing and easy.

We absolutely loved our Easter weekend away at Tessa's place. It was just what the mind, body and soul needed! I do wish we stayed for longer! Super cute accommodation, with everything you need. The accommodation was beautiful, amazingly well appointed, and beautifully clean. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the welcome basket on arrival. Margie was communicative, helpful, and friendly throughout. There was construction work going on nearby beyond allowable hours the first night and Margie got this resolved immediately and we we're super impressed and grateful for her proactive approach which resolved the issue for the rest of our stay. Truly excellent all round, thank you!

There aren’t words to describe this jaw-dropping property. May be my all-time favorite AirBnb experience! It’s breathtaking in its privacy, scenery and layout and has all the amenities one would need to feel right at home! It accommodated our 8-person property easily. We will absolutely come back for another stay!

Our stay at Endsleigh Cottage was wonderful; it had everything we needed and was situated on gorgeous grounds with a genuine old world charm.

We’ve traveled the world and this was easily one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. The property had beautiful views of both the ocean and the mountains. The house was equipped with everything you could want. We particularly appreciated the welcome bottle of wine, the generous breakfast kit and the outdoor bath tub. Everything was well appointed. We wouldn’t hesitate staying here again.

Truly amazing!! We had such a special time here, overseas family came and it’s such a perfect place to spend together without feeling on top of each other. Wish we could have stayed for a few more days as it’s the best base for exploring.

Lesley was such a kind and thoughtful host — she even helped me post back an item I had accidentally left behind (my toothbrushes!), which I truly appreciated. I would definitely love to come back again. Highly recommended!

Annabel and Willie's palce was nice and cozy and very near the water. It had everything we needed. The little back patio was nice to relax on and to have a nice glass of wine and enjoy de atmosphere. It was close to the places we wanted to visit around Napier and Hastings.
