Shirley’s Lakeside Home was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning surroundings—serene views, peaceful trails right out back, and fantastic birdwatching opportunities. The house itself was immaculate, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen had all the essentials (and more!). The beds were comfortable with plenty of soft blankets and pillows, and we loved the selection of games for family nights. It’s rare to find a rental that checks every box, but this one truly did. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing, well-equipped getaway by the lake! Final Verdict: 5/5 – An exceptional experience!

This place is awesome. The views are outstanding, and the place is immaculate. They thought of everything! There are so many incidentals provided—too many to list—-from small fans, to blow dryers! They have all the comforts of home. The location is very nice, and the neighbors are great! It is close to places to eat, or buy groceries and stay in. This place is at the top of our list for sure!

The location is magical. Such a wonderful blend of nature and home. The house is easy to navigate, has access to shopping (just a few minutes away) but feels peacefully remote.

This was a pleasant home, nice, clean quite neighbors. Loved the garage remote. Will definitely stay again.( if we are welcomed back)! Fast response when I contacted them, they checked in on us to make sure all was well. Only suggestion would be, a chair for the shower for elderly and a chair or ottoman in the bedrooms to sit on for putting on socks and shoes and such. Other then that... Awesome Home!!!

Beautiful place, amazing location, 5* amenities. You will make lifelong memories here. Waking up in the master bedroom with the view was the highlight of our day! Sauna and hot tub were great addition to the lake access and many kayaks available. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This is our second time staying here and it’s our favorite place in the area! Comfortable, beautiful, clean, and all of the amenities you could want. It perfectly housed our family and my brothers. We loved the fire pit in the chilly evenings, soaking in the hot tub, paddle boarding (we appreciated the use of two extra paddle boards provided by our hosts), and the close proximity to Sandpoint shopping and dining.

Dan was so accomadating with his rental. I had an emergency and needed a place to stay immediately and his place was ready to go and he was very responsive, as usual.

Wonderful and relaxing stay! The house was walking distance to downtown and everything about the house felt like home! We are already planning our next stay here!

Would easily stay here again. This was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend ski trip to Schweitzer. Ann was so friendly and kind, and extremely easy to communicate with. This home is lovely and has so much space and entertainment. We had a great time staying here!

We loved our stay here at Allison’s home. This was more like a B&B experience and Alli is an amazing host that goes out of her way to help you feel at home, relaxed and comfortable while still giving you total privacy. The accommodations are beautiful and comfortable. Great water pressure, lovely den and kitchen area, fast internet and great TV options. We loved the hot tub and sauna. A must if you visit- indulge! Honestly, we wished we had booked more time here as it was the most relaxed we had been our entire trip. We will plan to come back when we visit Idaho again in a few months without a doubt. Don’t hesitate to book your time here. You will be glad you did!!

we loved staying at Mandy's place. It was in a great location. we could walk down town easily. It was close to trails, the lake and really good resteraunts. Beautiful home with comfy beds.

The house was everything we were looking for! It was cozy and we felt right at home. There was plenty of household items for us to use. The hot tub was very relaxing. We would book again! There was enough space for everyone to have their moment when needed. High recommend booking this awesome home!

Beautiful property. Super comfortable. Beautiful surrounding. Yet very accessible and not far from downtown. Lots of activities and options provided with the house. check-in / check-out and communication in general were super smooth. We had a great vacation - thank you !

It was beautiful, quiet, and the dock access was perfect for our kayaks and paddle boards. It was great being able to bring my poodle and not have to worry about finding a pet sitter. Sheri was friendly and very responsive throughout the whole process. Everyone enjoyed playing foosball and hanging out at the fire pit outside. It was a nice touch to have extra life vests to use seeing as we totally forgot our life vests so that was literally a life safer! The hot tub was clean and ready to go when we got there which made it so easy to use! Lots of space for our whole group to eat on the patio and plenty of beds for everyone to be comfortable. Lastly, I have to mention the view from all three decks on the house. You almost need to try to not get a lake view while on the property. Our family is already talking about when we can come back!!

Katharine went above and beyond, making our family’s Christmas stay a wonderful experience. She furnished the home beautifully with tasteful Christmas decorations and comfortable furniture. She had also put up a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. She personally greeted us with a basket of cookies, and she showed us the important details about the house to make our stay pleasant. The house had just about everything we needed for a wonderfully memorable trip. There’s room inside the house and outside on the grounds to spread out. Lots of places to explore for kids. We very much appreciated the serenity and quiet, which we have at our own home. We loved seeing a bald eagle fly by several times daily, beside the geese, ducks, and loons. If we are ever this way again, we would stay here in a heartbeat.

The home was warm, cozy and clean. Easily accessible, private and peaceful. Billie Jean was fantastic at communicating and was quick to respond. We arrived late and she left the lights on for us and had the temperature set to a comfortable and cozy setting. To top it off she left us a bowl of fresh chicken eggs to enjoy during our stay and continued to check in to ensure our experience was exceptional! Hands down would definitely stay again!

Absolutely wonderful home, super peaceful and very well maintained. We had a wonderful time enjoying the lake and relaxing after our daily activities. We are looking forward to coming back again in the future and highly recommend this rental.

We were in town helping friends move, and this is a great little hideaway and reprieve in the evenings. The beds were comfortable, and we love the old house. Thank you so much for the labels on the drawers. It's often so difficult to find things when we a visit an Airbnb!

Excellent stay for the holidays. Plenty of space to spread out. The decks would be fun in warmer.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for our family of 11 ranging in age from 3 months to grand-parents. The big dining room table was perfect for family meals and games. And I'm not sure who had more fun in the game room – the kids or the adults. The tree house was also a big hit for the kids. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. Everything was fantastic and we would definitely stay here again!

My fiance and I stayed here for two months and had an absolute blast. Jen is so nice and gave us great recommendations for the area. We felt right at home and the house was extremely nice and updated. Just the right size for what we needed to work remotely. Movie theater upstairs was AWESOME. Didn’t think we’d use it that much but we were up there every night watching shows and films. We biked on the Route of Hiawatha, rented a boat on Coeur d’Alene lake, went and had Hudson’s hamburgers, saw the craziest fireworks show for 4th of July that we’d ever seen, drove 3 1/2 hours to Glacier National Park, hiked Tubbs Hill… the list goes on and on. One thing to mention is I wouldn’t come here with the intention of having a loud or rowdy group. The homes are close together and while we made great friends with the neighbors, most people living in this gated community are older so it wouldn’t be wise to do something like a bachelor party here, etc. Thanks again! What an amazing place to live.
