Great room to sleep in and the host was very friendly. The spiral matrasses got mixed feelings in our family, some liked it others didn’t. Nice little breakfast and drinks ready for us and great blinds so the room is actually nice and dark.

Great accommodation which was spotlessly clean. Anne was an extremely helpful and friendly host. Her bungalow is set in a lovely peaceful location with stunning views over the loch. What a beautiful home in such a lovely area. Helen is such a lovely lady and gave us such a warm welcome as soon as we arrived. Put the kettle on as soon as we arrived and we enjoyed lovely soda bread and cake. Lovely room , warm comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended. We had an excellent family stay at the property. We were welcomed to the property by the hosts, and the wood burner was running so it was nice and toasty on arrival. The hosts had also kindly provided some tasty home made biscuits and muffins. The property is spacious, well equipped and well maintained. Burton Fleming was ideally situated for us for days out (Hunmanby gap, RSPB Bempton Cliffs, Burton Agnes Hall, Sewerby Hall). The village has a duck pond as well as a play area, which were ideal for exploring with a toddler.

We had such a lovely stay with Alan and Hilary! They were so friendly, and they took the time to give us great advice on how and when to visit the local sites, which really helped a lot to make the most of our time in the region. They also surprised us with a room upgrade, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch. The breakfast was delicious and they also went through the trouble of making it vegan for one of us. The house and the garden are just beautiful, and one can tell they genuinely care about their guests and love what they do. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would absolutely stay with them again!

Me and a group of friends stayed here over Easter and it was the most incredible place. Anton and Penny were so helpful and lovely. The complimentary breakfast and food at the pub was so delicious and the yurt was so cosy, clean and well put together. Would definitely come back to this Airbnb. Penrith was a 15 minute drive away and the village was very picturesque. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing stay with some very helpful hosts

Ian and Fiona were very accommodating and welcoming! All communication and provided information was excellent! 😊 The Old Stables is a beautiful house, and the room with the bathroom upstairs is very clean and comfortable. The place is in a perfect location for all kinds of activities: hiking, walking, cycling, mountain biking, etc. - a great place! Highly recommended, and we hope to return! 😊

The perfect base for exploring Whitby and the surrounding areas. Helen, Nick and not forgetting their gorgeous pup Daisy were wonderful hosts. We felt so welcomed from the arrival, and throughout our stay with delicious breakfast served daily and the most cosy room and bed to retreat inside after days walking and visiting the coast. We would highly recommended their b&b, and will be back in the future!

Jackie’s place was a real haven. Her communication was great- helping understand the local area and plan arrival. Jackie really couldn’t have done much more to make me feel more welcome, I felt very looked after. I felt slightly sad not to have more time to hang out with her, could have spent a lot more time chatting. The room was lovely, very convenient and quiet too. Breakfast was very comprehensive.

Super bolthole when staying in the Binbrook area. Ideal for us working local over the weekend. Would also be a great place to stay for people wanting to enjoy the Wolds and its walking routes

Really clean and spacious room in a bed and breakfast near the Loch. There are nice cafes and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk and som fantastic walking trails. The room is nice and big, and the bathroom, while on a separate floor, is quite large and properly appointed. A nice breakfast is served in the morning and Juliet is very friendly!

I spent a very enjoyable couple of days st Rachel’s. She was very helpful and made me feel at home. She told me about a location to visit which proved to be great. Fantastic breakfast and very flexible with the timing. A very comfortable bed with clean bedding. Highly recommended!

A lovely couple. Yvonne has put her heart and soul into her home and the “accommodations” and it shows. Just excellent. Very knowledgeable about those local spots of interest you truly want to see and enjoy. This included great recommendations for meals in the area too. Will stay here again in a heart beat. Breakfast was perfect. We felt at home.

We had a fabulous stay here, the air bnb is located in the heart of Bakewell right next to a fabulous coffee shop. Sarah and her team went above and beyond to make me and my partner feel welcome, providing us with local knowledge and tips on how to spend our time in the Peak District. Breakfast was plentiful and yummy. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Fiona’s place was the most beautiful part of our trip to Scotland, such a cute, warm place, we almost felt like home. Well maintained and so clean. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay away from the city.

Saltwater chronicles is an outstanding property . Everything you need is provided. The house is beautiful, private and has stunning views. The bedrooms are beautifully designed, beds are comfortable and each room has its own bathroom. The estate has lovely walks and the coastal walks are stunning. Great service and communication from the team at Dunskey. I would highly recommend

Richard and Neill were very kind and attentive, laid on a delicious breakfast and welcomed us to a very comfortable room. The place was easy to find and ideal as a base for visiting Yorkshire abbeys, minsters and churches. Thank you, Richard

The house is beautifully and sympathetically decorated and furnished, felt luxurious but not somewhere you were worried about touching things! Our bed was very comfortable, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, thoughtful extras such as dressing gowns and a fridge in the room so we could make tea and coffee. Bathroom was another highlight, gorgeous deep bath and a walk in shower with lovely toiletries. Continental breakfast was delicious, a lovely touch to have bread from the bakery down the road. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful, top tips for places to go and visit as well as eat, different transport options into the city also explained. I will be recommending this accommodation to friends and family as I don't think they will find anything better in York.

Noël et Patricia étaient des hôtes charmants, à l'écoute, et de très bon conseil. Ils ont été accomodants par rapport à notre arrivée tardive, et nous avons passé un superbe séjour. Les petits déjeuners, la compagnie de Lucy et tous les bons conseils pour organiser au mieux nos visites ont été fort appréciés. Nous les recommandons avec grand plaisir !

Lovely stay, Wendy was a perfecy host full of recommendations for places to eat and made us feel very welcome. Perfect for a weekend away to explore Manchester and the Peak District.

Maria and her husband are amazing hosts. They always respond to everything we need and even more - they shared a lot of usefull tips. The place is too cute and cosy, we decide to stay in instead of hiking. The room looks like on a picture and it is super clean. Maria even prepared a gluten free breakfast and snacks for us, much appreciated. In overall this was the best stay from our Scotland trip. Thank you for amazing two days!!!
