Shirley is a lovely and gentle lady. I came to London to settle down and have been staying here for about a month while looking for my next rental. I feel at home with her, especially when we watch TV during dinner time. Haha.

Ich war vor 2 Jahren schon einmal bei Anne und habe mich sofort wieder für ihr schönes Haus entschieden , als ich wieder nach Hemel Hempstead gereist bin. Ich weiß diesen besonderen Ort sehr zu schätzen. Ein sehr gepflegtes Haus in ruhiger und doch zentraler Lage. Das Zimmer mit Blick in den romantischen Garten. Ich liebe diese Aussicht. Anne ist eine sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Gastgeberin . Am Abreisetag bereitete sie mir ein wunderbares Frühstück mit Tee ,Toast und Ei. Anne ist mir nach den 2 Jahren ,die ich sie kenne eine Freundin geworden. Von mir gibt es eine hundertprozentige Empfehlung. Ich komme gerne wieder

There is a gate to get on the property and we were unable to call Miranda when at the gate due to poor reception. I imagine this was because we are from the US and ATT is our carrier and I suppose England does not have a lot of ATT towers for cellular. We were unable to make phone contact at the gate and drove about 5 or so minutes into town to get good phone coverage and drove back. The house was clean and in a pleasant area. Miranda was most helpful.

The host was very nice, we had a great time! There’s a fried chicken place nearby that’s cheap and good too. Everything is well prepared and is very clean when we checked in. The location is walkable to both the train station and bus station.

This is the best of old fashioned BnBs, in a real person's real home. One host, one guest, friendly discussion over a civilised breakfast. Quiet street just off a big park, with a bus route on the other side of the park. Less than 30 minutes' walk to the station. So far, so good. AND THEN! An idyllic little river at the bottom of the garden (not the Thames); Andrea kindly lent me her kayak. I paddled a little way upstream, and then, oops, swam back. The brook is perfect for both activities, depending on your skill. Andrea hosed me down without a fuss. I couldn't ask for a better host.

J'ai passé un agréable séjour dans cette chambre propre et fonctionnelle, idéale pour un court séjour. L'accueil était chaleureux, et Mara est bienveillante et attentionnée Seul petit bémol : l’emplacement un peu éloigné du centre de Londres, nécessitant environ une heure de trajet en voiture. Mais pour ceux qui recherchent le calme après une journée en ville, c'est un bon choix

The cottage is full of character and has a real feel of home. The large kitchen with a range provided an ideal place for us all to gather. Sally-Anne made everything as easy as possible. She was there to welcome us and show us round and there to see us off. She was accommodating in every way. Communication was easy and efficient. The house is a perfect distance from Stratton Court Barn, a wedding venue. The house was warm and comfortable.

This is a lovely apartment right on Church Street with amazing views out over London. The place was clean and has a really comfy bed and decent TV and speakers. Alex couldn’t have been more helpful and seems a great host. 100% recommend.

This flat was very comfortable for our party of three. The kitchen was well appointed and fully functional. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The location was very convenient to portabello road and it’s many shops and eateries and convenient to bus and tube lines. Check in and out were easy.

What a great place to stay! Had everything you could need and the location was perfect. Walking distance to Marlow and excellent links to M4/40. All in all it was a pleasure to stay here. Sarah was extremely efficient and helpful which made it even more perfect! Thank you Sarah for everything

We spent a week at Wim’s place, and a few things stood out. Wim is a warm and excellent communicator. His directions were very clear and useful, and he made recommendations for local activities as well. He’s very responsive and it was very easy for us to get in touch with him anytime before and during the trip. The location is fantastic! 2-3 minutes walk from Leicester square station, and with plenty of walkable streets and things to do! The apartment itself was very practical and very nicely stocked. We really felt at home coming back to the apartment after busy days of walking and sightseeing. If back in London, will surely book it again!

We loved our stay. James was wonderful, helped us find a pub still serving food when we arrived late from the airport. Much appreciated the well stocked kitchen. Easy walk into Henley. Would definitely stay again.

Our family (2 adults with 3 teenagers) stayed at Jen & Matt’s place for 6 nights in March 2025. It was perfect for us. Lots of space and all the amenities we needed. We were on an early arriving flight and they allowed us early access to the flat, which was a lifesaver for that first day. The flat is in a lovely family-oriented neighbourhood with the beautiful Queen’s Park nearby. It is totally outside of the hustle and bustle of London, but right on the Bakerloo Line which allows super easy access to all the sights. It is also on the Lionness line which takes you directly to Watford Junction where you catch the shuttle to Warner Bros Studios to visit the Harry Potter sets. It couldn’t be better situated in my opinion. Jen & Matt provided milk, eggs, butter, jam, crumpets, tea and coffee to get us started, which was a really nice touch. There is a Tesco Express nearby, so it was easy to buy groceries. I did a load of laundry and everything worked fine. Highly recommend!

A stay with Deborah is highly recommended, everything was spot on, we appreciated a place to park even beyond our check out time. Deborah is friendly interesting and welcoming, we'd definitely visit again if we're on the area and it isn't booked out. Thank you.

Stay at Margaret’s was amazing. She was very attentive and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. 10/10 recommend :)

Fiona was a stellar host. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and quiet, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. We very much enjoyed chatting to Fiona over breakfast and appreciated any advice given on how to get around the city. An amazing experience which we would be happy to repeat when going back to London. Many thanks!

Cute Annexe in the countryside. very quiet, warm and cosy, and the array of lamps really accentuated this. nice large dining lounge space and comfortable bed. lovely little extras with the local apple juice , butter, bread and milk etc with a nespresso coffee machine. towels are very fluffy and large too. davina was very helpful and her washing up fairy did a magical job.

Fantastic host, great place with a beautiful location plenty of country side to explore, in our case to ride.

I had a very pleasant stay, David's place is bright and airy but cosy at the same time. Great breakfast and lovely hosts.

We had a lovely stay in Avril’s place. Avril was a wonderful host - communicative, friendly and flexible with check in and out times. We appreciated touches like nespresso pods, tea and The White Company products in the bathrooms. This was a great location to stay in if you want to be close to Tring or the Pendley Manor Hotel. We were staying for a wedding being held at the hotel and were less than a 5 minute drive from both. Avril helpfully recommended a taxi service which we used multiple times. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Penny and Keith’s place. Penny put me and my young daughter immediately at ease and was just so welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and homely and we both slept very well. Breakfast was much appreciated. The neighbourhood itself is peaceful but with easy access to central London and had the added benefit of free street parking right near the house which is handy if arriving by car. We’d definitely like to come back.
