Nature Lover's Getaway!

Want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life? This is the place for you! Kick back and relax in this stylish home, far enough out of the city to get away, but close enough to enjoy the benefits of city life. Be aware - the house sits on a .5 mile bumpy dirt road, worth it if you are looking for peace and quiet. Due to the location, the best we can do is a data-limited hotspot for WIFI. So, we added a game room. Pets are welcome. The cost is $30 a night per pet that is paid separately.

Kerr Lake sunsets at Cypress Cove Cottage

Built in 1958, updated in 2019, Cypress Cove Cottage on Kerr Lake is a place to relax, have a refreshing swim, and view stunning sunsets. Originally a summer home, called Sunnyside, the cottage was winterized for a year-round retreat. Bald cypress trees bookend the lakeshore of this unique property. The cottage is on a grassy lot sloping gently to the lake. There is a small dock to fish, swim and watch sunsets. Great spot for lake lifers, fisherfolk, couples, small families, business travelers.

Second floor of recently-built garage apartment in a charming, peaceful Durham neighborhood. Twenty minutes to RDU Airport, five minutes to Duke's East Campus and ten minutes to West Campus, we are an easy walk to a range of locally-owned restaurants. Lovely, light-filled apartment has a bedroom, full kitchen and living area, bathroom, private entrance, and patio with seating. Occasionally, we may have first-floor space available at extra cost. Conveniently located off I-85, Satterwhite Retreat is in the heart of lake country & a short drive to Clarksville, VA, Warrenton, Oxford & Henderson, NC. Boat and RV parking available. A boat charging outlet is conveniently located adjacent to the parking area. TV's in living room and one guest bedroom. Well-lit for night arrivals.

Centrally located to Duke University and Duke Medical. Perfect for longer stays for visiting professionals as well as shorter stays to enjoy all Durham has to offer.

Fix coffee or meals in the kitchen and get some work done at the desk or on the outdoor dining table using the wi-fi. The shower has virtually unlimited hot water. You can also eat dinner or hang out in the hammock in the secret garden under the glow of bistro lights.

The home is near Kerr Lake Reservoir and is a 7-minute drive to Nutbush Creek Recreation area and boat ramp, and an 11-minute drive to Satterwhite Point Marina. It's perfect for families, fisherman, lake-goers, or travelers who prefer a home while visiting the area.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil adults only getaway on this quaint horse farm. At this newly renovated one bedroom cottage you can enjoy your favorite beverage in a rocking chair on the porch, lounge by the pool, roast marshmallows by the fire pit or relax in the hot tub. The King Size bed is comfortable. The luxury bathroom has heated tiles.

Petit Château Cottage

Enjoy the serenity of country life in this tiny cottage ... just right for two, with a loft bed. 300 sq feet, well organized, with a comfortable and cozy feel to it and an ample kitchen and bathroom. The private deck offers a secluded space to enjoy nature and the sounds of the birds. The property is about 12 miles north of Durham.
