It is a wildlife oasis where you can regularly see kingfishers, woodpeckers and hear ferny hoolets from your balcony. When you are not chilling in the hot tub, you can enjoy the tranquillity of the indoor space, which has a wonderful, relaxing feel-good atmosphere. We are just 30 minutes to the Lake District and 2 miles to M6,which offers great access to explore the N.W. We allow 2 well-behaved small/medium dogs.

Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Rifleman's Arms.

Our caravan is situated right next to Heysham port so perfect for the ferry to the Isle of Man. We have space on our plot for 2 cars and even a 3rd would fit easily. Our caravan is a good size with a kingsize bedroom with space for a travel cot and has an en suite bathroom. We have tried to make our lovely caravan homely so you feel at home. We supply bedding, towels & toiletries and have everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Entertainment passes can be bought at reception.

The Aldcliffe Hut has been beautifully handmade with everything you need to enjoy your stay including a wood burning stove and a magical pull down bed. The Hut offers the best of all worlds: it borders a nature reserve, is just 0.7 miles from Lancaster station, is a 10 minute walk from the historic city centre, with its many cafés and museums and a stone's throw from the Lancaster Canal where you can amble along taking in the wildlife, boats and pubs.
