The lodge was clean, homely and well furnished. It is in a great location and walking distance from the centre of Windermere.

I had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless—super clean and well-maintained. The location couldn’t have been better, close to everything I needed and easy to get around. The host was friendly and responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I’d definitely stay here again!

Beautiful spot with the most amazing views, would definitely recommend for a peaceful weekend. Sophie was a great host. The decor in the hut had a local, homely feeling with everything we needed.

Such a lovely stay! Lovely hosts and brilliant location if you’re looking to stay in central Windermere. Since we weren’t travelling by car we thought travel would be limited but were surprised to have multiple bus stops nearby which were brilliant! Highly recommend, and the balcony is a lovely unique bonus to the Airbnb ☺️

We stayed at Swallow's Loft, in the beautiful village of Far Sawrey, for 3 nights. We absolutely loved the area and Louise's place is ideally situated. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and cosy and Louise provided everything we could need. Louise was very friendly and messaged a few times to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Not to mention it was in walking distance to so many pubs, restaurants, and shops. Our hosts went above and beyond by providing local recommendations and activities, which made exploring the area so much easier and more fun. They were very friendly and responsive. A special touch that really stood out was the complimentary bottle of wine - such a thoughtful and welcoming gesture. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a cozy, central spot in windermere central to everything.

We had a beautiful stay here. The space was spotlessly clean and we could sit and stare at the view for hours. Hosts were responsive and incredibly helpful, even with an unusual request :-) the space isn’t lacking anything- we both agree it is the best Air BnB we have ever stayed in! Thank you again, we hope to return one day.

We had a delightful and restful time at the Folly. Wayne was very available to communicate and share recommendations from the area. The stay was perfect to recover after our walks during the day. Loved the books and decoration. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Kimberley Place! The home was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We especially appreciated the peaceful surroundings and thoughtful touches throughout the property. We did have a minor issue with the restroom flush during our stay, but the host was incredibly responsive and promptly sent someone to fix it, which we really appreciated. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely love to stay again. Thank you for being such a thoughtful and attentive host!
