The Oak House was the perfect place to stay for our weekend in West, TX. The old historic home is incredible and the nearby bakeries are a “must.”

Great location, you can walk down to the lake. Josh was easy to communicate with, we'd stay there again.

Really cute inside . The backyard was an enclosed (as described) and safe for our two little dogs. Huge porch swing to watch the sunset. Roomy living area. Bathrooms are redone and the master has amazing A/c for those that like it really cold while you sleep. Would definitely come again.

Pamela’s cottage was perfect! I’m often in the Grandview/Maypearl/Covington area for short little trips. Now that I bring my Golden Retriever with me, it has been difficult to find places that are convenient and affordable. Pamela’s is everything and then some! If anything, Pamela undersells how amazing the place is. The cottage itself is super clean and had everything I needed. The bed was comfy, the hot water worked great, and I could let my dog sniff around without fear of her picking something up off the ground because of how clean it was. The directions and instructions to get there and enter were very clearly communicated. And the surrounding land they have is beautiful. Sadie and I loved our stay and will definitely book again soon!

For anyone attending or hosting an event at the Stonebridge Wedding and Event venue in Blum, this is the place to stay. It can sleep up to 9, has lots of linens and towels and is just lovely. Well decorated, the kitchen was the best stocked with lots of items for cooking/baking at ‘home’. We were sad it wasn’t cool enough to take advantage of the fire pit outside.

We visit the Waco area about every 2 months and look for a place to enjoy with our grandson. We played board games, fished each day,watched the wildlife and played baseball. Who needs TV? We definitely enjoyed the time we spent there. Also cooked out each night!

The drive getting there is very scenic. The area is peaceful. It’s very cozy and was perfect for our family, two adults into a teenagers. I absolutely loved that the house was fully stocked. The host was very thoughtful to have everything I needed to make the kiddos Homemade waffles. They had all the ingredients, utensils and the waffle making machine. The layout of the kitchen and the living room is such that everyone can watch TV together no matter where you’re sitting. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The bathroom has everything you need Including make up wipes, which was great for my daughter and I. The deck outside is lovely with plenty of seating space. The highlight was definitely the following morning when we got to see all of the cattle and horses upfront. We got to watch the cattle come up to the property from the creek. The host is very responsive and I appreciated the quick review of the stay request and detailed information on how to get there.

My husband, daughter, son-in-law, and myself met there to go to a wedding at a nearby venue and stayed 2 nights. This was the perfect location since we were coming from east Texas and our daughter and son-in-law were coming from the Austin area. Beautiful views and very clean home. The pool was very enjoyable, too. Everything we needed was there. Would definitely recommend this place. We only had 4 people, but the home can accommodate plenty more. Thank you, Jessica. You have a beautiful property.

The cabin was very comfortable. We didn't cook, but the kitchen seemed well stocked. We couldn't find dish soap or a dishcloth, so the few items we used had to go in the dishwasher. I felt bad running it for so few items. We did make use of the chess set. That was nice. The location is beautiful and quiet. There were restaurants fairly close, so I was able to take a break from cooking. We enjoyed our stay.
