We had a great weekend. Very comfortable home from home getaway. Well equipped and not cluttered! Beautiful, quiet location where you can relax and enjoy listening to the night sounds. Close to all amenities and restaurants in town. Our weekend was the epitomey of perfect South African weather making our duvets too warm. A light duvet for summer would be a good idea. Definitely going back !

We enjoyed our stay as a family. The river tubing was very exciting pity the fish were reluctant to take the bait (just a joke)

Loved everything about the place, everything is well thought, lovely quiet and peaceful surrounding. Place has everything you will need, and the things you never think of, they are there. Lovely host, goes over and beyond, really appreciated that, i will definitely be coming back.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking mountain views and the abundance of birds and wildlife all around us—it truly felt like a peaceful escape into nature. Dianna was an exceptional host, always available with helpful suggestions for events and activities happening in the area, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A special thanks to Aathol as well, who went above and beyond by assisting us when we had trouble with a flat wheel—such kindness and hospitality made us feel right at home. The cottage itself was spotless, with top-notch facilities in excellent condition. Every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of, ensuring we had a comfortable and relaxing stay. We highly recommend Hamstead Farm to anyone looking for a serene getaway with warm, welcoming hosts. We can’t wait to visit again!

We absolutely loved our time at Bianca’s place! The location of the home is spectacular, right next to the lake and very private. The home is spacious, clean and has everything you could require in terms of amenities. We had a lovely, relaxing family holiday here!

Endroit agréable et paisible où rester. Les vues sont magnifiques. Logement bien équipé. Niki a toujours été réactive pour répondre à nos questions. La literie et draps sont confortables. La ville est assez proche pour les courses, mais on a l'impression d'être très loin tellement c'est dans les collines

Had a lovely stay at Angela’s! The view is spectacular and the cottage was very cosy. It also offered access to a lovely spacious garden with a 180° view of the mountains and surrounding areas. The cottage was clean and spacious and had all amenities needed, including an exterior fire pit, patio furniture and a braai. Angela welcomed us heartily and we felt right at home immediately. We would recommend this spot for anyone visiting the area!
