It is not 5 star accommodation but it did not say it was. It was clean and things worked. Great value for a group of friends travelling. 2 night stay sitting on the deck in the evening, the view of the falls and below was great. We ate at the manor a couple of minutes' walk away and enjoyed Karoke. Second night we made dinner. What was important to us? a) 8 of us can stay together b) keeping cost down c) clean. We will come back in again on the next trip in 2026.

This home is awesome, so close to everything and has everything you need. Unfortunately, the pool heating wasn't playing ball but we were able to take advantage of the spa.

We had an amazing stay! Rodd was incredibly professional and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The house is absolutely stunning and looks exactly like the pictures. The amenities provided truly elevated the experience as we had everything we could possibly need at our fingertips. My family and I had so much fun as there's so much to do, and all of the amenities are in amazing condition. Thank you Rodd for being so accomodating! Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Highly recommend this fabulous place, clean, quiet and easy walking into town. Accommodation is well suited for 8 visitors. Loved the three bathrooms, plenty of towels and easy to book and use the shared facilities, pool, spa and bbq. Thank you Olivia, we will definitely be back.

We came up from Auckland for a wedding & the property was local to everything The property was great and both Rob & his wife were lovely. We barely seen them so we decided to go say hello down at their Phat House bar in haruru. We had a couple of nephews come and visit while we were up aswell . Catching up with whanau and coming back to relax there was lovely .

The house is beautiful, accommodations were very comfortable, beautifully decorated, kitchen well equipped, access to the beach, gorgeous views. Kelly was a pleasure to work with, we would love to visit again.

Fantastic place. Very well placed for the beaches and only a short drive into Mangonui for restaurants. Very comfortable beds, beautiful bathrooms. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic time at Margaret’s place in Kerikeri. The place was spotless, well-equipped, and had a cozy, welcoming vibe. The location was perfect—close to local cafes, shops, and stunning nature spots. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Bay of Islands!

It felt like home from home, had all we needed, lovely private garden to chill out in after a day out, not far from main road, comfy chairs with choice of entertainment. We would love to live there!

We stayed over NY with this as a base for some great adventures and lots of seafood. The property manager Peter was very flexible and helpful. Bev next door was also amazing and very hospitable. Would have no hesitation in staying again! Thanks for an awesome trip.

We had a wonderful stay at Tracy’s place, who kept in contact with us throughout our stay in case we needed anything! I stayed here a few days after my wedding with my husband, 2 small children, parents and siblings. The house was amazing, especially the view of the ocean from the deck. The place was clean, nicely decorated, well stocked and Kirsty communicated really well. She even left us a card and bottle of cava to celebrate our wedding! It was private but a 3 min drive to central Russell. The driveway was steep but easily fit our 4 cars. We cannot fault our stay at all and I would definitely stay here again. We saw fantails, Tuis and weka and the garden was beautiful.

Incredible spot overlooking the ocean and Cavalli Islands. House is really well laid out for a mixed age group with one bedroom and lounge area seperate from main living. Plenty of parking and room for the boat, fishing was excellent! Great stay for a week.

A harbour-side view is a great get away perfect — peaceful water views, the sound of boats rocking and bush walks .

Francine’s house is located at a quiet residential area,five minutes drive to restaurants and shops. the rooms and bathrooms are specious, the deck is overlooking at a beautiful view of the forests very relaxing.Thank you Francie for your prompt response and the late check out. Francie we had a good time at your home however the stairs at the entry were challenging for my husband as he had difficulty going up and down the stairs, not suitable for people with disabilities. I should have checked that out .Highly recommend if the stairs are not an issue.

Das Tunnelhaus war ein Traum- fast wie eine Hobbithöhle. Sehr schön und geräumig. Toller Blick! Der Ort Rawene ist entzückend, sehr klein, aber man fühlt sich sofort wohl und der Flair dort hat was ganz spezielles!! Viele tolle Tipps von Tima in der Mappe, die im Haus liegt! Wer Ruhe und was ganz Besonderes abseits der touristischen Pfade möchte, der ist in Rawene und im Tunnelhaus perfekt aufgehoben!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was a beautiful house in a stunning location. It was nice opening up all the doors in the morning with the sun beaming in. The kitchen was well-equipped - and it’s only a few minutes drive to local eateries. A perfect getaway :)
