We stayed at Shankara for a week at the end of a 4 month trip and it did not disappoint. It is only a few minutes walk away from some great restaurants, shops and the beach, but is still very peaceful. The room was spacious, even with a huge bed and had a small courtyard area. The kitchenette had all the utensils and cutlery you needed, while the fridge allowed us to keep food and drinks nice and cold. We enjoyed a fair amount of time lounging around the pool, decompressing in the sun before heading home and Shankara was the perfect place to do this!

The room and location was great. Communication was fluid and helpful. Matías’s place was perfect for easy access to beach and all the great shops and restaurants on the Island. The pool option provided that extra cool down when returning from an afternoon adventure. What's wild is that's it near the action but the area is pretty quiet. So you get best of many worlds. The staff was very helpful and hard working. All my questions were answered very quickly. If you have never been to the island this is a great place to start. This was our second time to the island and we loved this place. I would recommend staying here to anyone. (( for food people --Luuma is very close ( wow place) and breakfast close by is Painapol. <--- Fruit bowls and everything on menu....mmmm. mmm.The music at night walking around and every restaurant we went to was magnificent and so so tasty. Again, Great place. Great people. divine beaches. Magic abound. Hope you get the chance experience it all

We stayed for a week in this accommodation for our honeymoon, and it was simply magical. The photos don’t do justice to the beauty of the place — the view is absolutely breathtaking, and even after a week, we never got tired of it. The house is spotless, tastefully decorated, and you feel at home right away. I planned our whole stay with the co-host Karina, who was amazing: she arranged our transfer and had a lovely surprise waiting for us when we arrived. Communication was perfect from start to finish — attentive, responsive, and truly caring. In short, I recommend this place 200%, with my eyes closed!

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt! Die Insel, das Airbnb… alles war super! Das Zimmer war sauber, Matias und das ganze Personal im Shankara waren äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden immer wieder zurück kommen!

This was an amazing place to spend a couple nights in Holbox!! The host was fantastic. We got some great food recommendations and she went above and beyond when there was a closure of the port that affected our departure timing. Communication was fantastic and I will 100% stay here again if I come back.

Beautiful place, exactly as pictured, air conditioning in living room and both bedrooms kept it nice and cool, chairs and table on the one patio and hammock on the other were so lovely! Host was wonderful about making everything easy and giving us recommendations! FYI the ‘’microwave” is a toaster oven but we were still able to heat up food just fine in it! While we could’ve walked into town, we were lazy and enjoyed taking a golf cart taxi there and back instead, it’s easy to pop over to La Cabane (great food) and ask them to call one for you if the one the host recommends isn’t available, though there are usually taxis popping by La Cabane anywho 😊 There’s a minimart where you can get water, amazing cookies, other groceries and drinks, though if you’re gonna grab wine or liquor, I’d recommend getting it from somewhere in town because it’s less expensive and the grocery selection is a little more robust 😉 A few minute walk away from beach action, highly recommend to any and every

What a wonderful place Matias has created here! The attention to detail is very good from perfect lighting to comfortable robes. Before we arrived and during the stay Matias was always responsive and helpful plus Ceci is lovely and works very hard to keeps the place fresh and clean for all guests. The room was so spacious and clean, slept so well in the big bed and the pool cools you down perfectly on a hot day!

El alojamiento cuenta con las amenidades y espacios para un fin de semana perfecto en El Cuyo, todo muy limpio y ordenado 🙌🏼 Estuvimos muy felices de quedarnos en este lugar, una gran elección. Los aires acondicionados en los cuartos y sala lo hicieron más agradable.

We booked last minute during an on and off power outage (limited wifi) and no cell in the town. She worked hard to get us checked in, thank you! The apartment was perfect, private and relaxing with direct beach access. Well equipped kitchen for cooking your own or a short walk to great restaurants! Loved it, would stay again!!

Beautiful place. This is the 2nd time my wife and I stay at Karla's place. I stayed at both, Amanecer and Atardecer and I was happy to see some minor improvements from the last time. I would definitely recommend staying at Karla's. If I could suggest something that'll make it more enjoyable. The Jacuzzi! On both occasions the hot water does not work on them, making them useless. I think that if you're going to have it in the listing, it should be working. Other than that. It's a beautiful place, right on the water. Thank you so much...

El alojamiento ordenado, limpio, con unas vistas espectaculares, sin duda volvería a alojarme ahí. Cosas para tomar en cuenta el taxi es un poco caro solo sugiero ir preparados con cosas básicas para botanear y de ahí en fuera no van a querer salir del airbnb. Es precioso y la Playa de ahí también es hermosa

A lovely little spot that felt really private but still a walkable distance to most places - 5 mins to the beach and most restaurants I went to took under 10. Host responded really fast and was very helpful. Definitely worth what I paid.
