This was a very good location. The apartment even had a nice balcony. The place was close to trams to train station and walkable to all historic sites in town. Plenty of good restaurants as well. Ghent is a fantastic place to base your travels out of! We loved this little city and stayed an extra couple of days.

Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

Wir waren zu zweit für 2 Nächte dort. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Die zur Verfügung stehenden Fahrräder waren eine tolle Möglichkeit um eine gemütliche abendliche Runde zu fahren oder auch in nichtmal 20 Minuten etwas einkaufen zu können. Mit unserem Auto sind wir in knapp 1h nach Zandvoort ans Meer gefahren. Es war unglaublich entspannend und die Gegend ist sehr schön.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour en famille. Le logement est aussi beau que sur les photos, super bien équipé (notamment pour les tous petits bébés) et l'environnement très agréable. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les œufs frais dans le frigo, et le bain norvégien. Gaelle et son compagnon ont été très attentifs à notre bien-être. Et nous avons aussi découvert une très belle région. Déjà envie d'y retourner ! :)

Wat een top verblijf! Van alle gemakken voorzien. De jacuzzi is echt een luxe, aan alles werd gedacht. Gunter is een vriendelijke host, die erg meedacht en behulpzaam was. Wij komen zeker terug!

Die Unterkunft war einfach fantastisch. Ruhige Lage in der Nähe von Amsterdam. Top Ausstattung. Sauna und Whirlpool inklusive. Auch ein Riesen Grill der super funktioniert hat. Für eine entspanntes Wochenende mit der Familie und Freunden geeignet. Und ein Ausflug nach Amsterdam ist auch drin. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich haben immer schnell reagiert und auch flexibel mit den An- und Abreisezeiten. Es war alles da was man gebraucht. Nur weiterzuempfehlen.

Wir sind mit vier Erwachsene und einem Baby bei Dirkje untergekommen und hatten eine wirklich tolle Zeit. Dirkje hat uns herzlich in Empfang genommen und der Check-in verlief sehr unkompliziert. (Mit Baby war es uns nicht möglich zu sagen, wann genau wir eintreffen werden aber das war kein Problem.) Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und so aufgeteilt, dass jeder seinen eigenen Bereich haben konnte und wir uns für die gemeinsame Zeit in Ess- und Wohnzimmer getroffen haben. Das war perfekt! Genau so, wie es beschrieben war. Besonders begeistert hat uns, dass wir uns direkt vor der Haustür bei den örtlichen Bauern mit Milch, Käse und Kartoffeln versorgen konnten und uns auch das Obst aus Dirkjes Garten frei zur Verfügung stand.

Ich und meine Freudin hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Haus von Mijke. Der Hot Pool und die Sauna waren sehr schön und einfach aufzuwärmen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und passend beschrieben. Wir können Sie nur weiter empfehlen.

Patries und Mike sind phänomenale Gastgeber und herzensgute Menschen - sowohl zu ihren Gästen als auch ihren Tieren auf dem Hof. Die Liebe zu ihrem Hof spürt man sofort und die Atmosphäre ist dadurch einmalig. Ganz tolle Tipps und Empfehlungen, die die beiden geben für einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Sowohl wir als auch unsere beiden Hunde haben sich unglaublich willkommen gefühlt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

We stayed for a couple of days while visiting Amsterdam and Leiden - it was fantastic for the train and a real quiet cosy little place Kitty was a lovely host, she sent the most comprehensive directions I’ve ever gotten to find the place from the station and was super speedy to respond. Thanks for having us 😊

We hadden een geweldig verblijf in de voormalige school onder de wieken van een oude molen. Prachtige, groene omgeving waar het erg rustig is. Sanna is een vriendelijke host die snel reageert en helpt waar ze kan. Dit huis is erg ruim en schoon, met een afgesloten tuin die je deelt met de buren. Absoluut een aanrader!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft in Zandvoort. Die Wohnung war genauso wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos – sauber, gemütlich und sehr einladend. Wir haben uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – nah zum Strand, zur Stadt und trotzdem ruhig. Annette war eine großartige Gastgeberin: sehr freundlich, gut erreichbar und mit tollen Tipps für die Umgebung. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Casa di campagna accogliente e pulita, con vista su un mulino a pochi passi. Ampio soggiorno, cucina nuova. Apprezzata la presenza di caffè, olio, sale, pepe, bagnoschiuma, ecc. I maiali e il cane sono molto socievoli, anche con i bambini, per i quali sono presenti anche altalena, dondolo, tappeti elastici. Esther e Erik si sono mostrati molto gentili, disponibili e riservati. Soggiorno rilassante e super consigliato!

We zijn 3 nachten verbleven bij Irene en het is zeker de moete waard geweest. Het is een leuk en vooral knus verblijf waar alles is wat je nodig zou hebben. Fijne vloerverwarming voor in de koude dagen!! Centrale ligging in een rustige omgeving waar alle kanten op iets te zien is. Het is voor ons zeker de moeite waard geweest!!!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Wendela sehr genossen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt. Das „Rosenhäuschen“ war genau das, was wir uns vorgestellt hatten. Es war unser „ Home away from home“. Und wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Prima plaats en we hadden stralend weer. Het huisje is iets minder geschikt voor een samengesteld gezelschap dan voor een gezin, maar we hebben desondanks genoten van het verblijf. Hartelijke host

This is a great place. It’s so, so close to the main square and easily walkable to any area of Bruges. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and tastefully decorated. A laundry (with two washers and two dryers), “Honesty Bar”, filled with wine and beer, DVD center is in the same building just two doors down. This apartment is located on the second floor (third floor by US standards) but is well worth it for the location.

J'ai apprécié le séjour dans le logement de Vera avec mes deux petites filles. L'appartement est spacieux et très bien équipé. La vue sur le lac est reposante et la résidence est très calme et bien entretenue. Par contre, il m'a fallu du temps pour me repérer d'un bâtiment à l'autre, la structure est labyrinthique lorsque l'on veut passer du devant à l'arrière du bâtiment pour décharger les bagages ou accéder à la piscine, le tout sans sortir du bâtiment, mais j'ai fini par comprendre... La piscine était mon critère incontournable et elle est très bien et très propre. Je recommande ce logement et y reviendrai avec plaisir.

Het huis is echt geweldig. Omgeven door groen. Uit elk raam zie je bloemen bomen en vogels. Het huis van Martijn en Stefan is vlakbij maar toch heb je privacy. Door t hoge plafond geeft het huisje een ruim gevoel veel meer dan je op de foto’s zou denken. De sauna was een uitkomst bij een regenachtige dag. De kachel in de woonkamer is makkelijk aan te krijgen en er is hout in overvloed. Boven op de vide twee eenpersoons bedden aan elkaar, iets minder knus maar goede matrassen. Wandelroutes vanuit het huis of een klein stukje fietsen kortom al met al zeer aangenaam en aan te bevelen!

Een heerlijk weekend gehad in deze ruime woning. Alle voorzieningen zijn aanwezig. Ook genoten van de infrarood sauna.

We had a wonderful stay at Dominique's 5th floor apartment. It was bright & airy & we felt at home immediately. The views are great & the large balcony is perfect for the afternoon sun/sunsets. There is also a 2nd balcony for the sunrise! And you can walk to the beach for these too, in only 15 minutes. The heated swimming pools(adult & baby pools)are a real hit. The large pool is very rarely busy. We loved it! You need to wear swimming caps, but once bought that wasn't a problem, as everyone wears one. They can be purchased in the small office in the pool apartment block. There are shops & restaurants within walking distance. The tram stop & train station are a 10 minute walk. We took a tram to Oostende & a train to Bruges. Fares are inexpensive. Kitchen facilities are excellent, coffee N'Espresso machine with pods & biscuits to start us off! A nice touch. Dominique is a very responsive & attentive host. Beds were very comfy. We had a really great stay. Just book it!!

Super week-end chez Magdalena. Bonne communication avant notre arrivée, arrivée et accueil parfaits. Nous avons rencontré Magdalena plus tard dans la soirée, une personne charmante qui fait tout pour que ses visiteurs passent un bon moment. Le logement est très confortable, au calme dans un environnement exceptionnel entre terre et mer. Un énorme merci à Magdalena et son mari pour leur hospitalité extraordinaire.
