Located on the Michigan Tech XC Ski Trails, you can ski out the back door. Take a short ungroomed trail to the classic ski trails, or walk down the road to the Mill Road TrailHead to access premier skate skiing trails. We have a ski waxing station in the garage, including a table, vise, waxing iron, scrapers and brush) so you can wax your skis. Just bring your preferred wax. Lastly, three sets of Tubbs snowshoes come with the home. Enjoy winter right from your backyard in a home away from home.

We are 1 mile from Swedetown cc ski/bike trails and sledding hill, and 1/4 mile from snowmobile trails. Less than 5 miles from Lake Superior. We are the perfect spot to start your trip North to wonderful Eagle Harbor, Copper Harbor and Brockway Mountain. Enjoy the wonderful views of the Lake, the Keweenaw, and relax in our cozy home. Unfortunately we do not allow pets or smoking.
