The Loblolly Lodge was built by Frank Taylor as a gathering place for his family around 1940. Remodeled in 2018, it now boasts of all the modern conveniences for a great getaway. With 2400sf of indoor living space & a 640sf covered back porch there is plenty of space for several families. The Lodge is nestled on 11 private wooded acres adjacent to Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area in the Davy Crockett National Forest which offers fishing, swimming, picnicking, and hiking for a small entrance fee.

Sits on the edge of a cow pasture where cows moo(DO NOT FEED, they’re large and can hurt you, NOT RESPONSIBLE for people who have messed with cows.) Also has a pond with ducks that quack. Restaurants, shops, historical treasures and even the Texas State Railroad are close enough for you to enjoy.

20 acres of relaxation in the piney woods of East Texas. Easily accessible from all directions. This is not a place to exert a lot of energy unless you'd like to visit my firewood splitting department. (I may knock a few dollars off the price if you do!) Owners house is next door, Grill, smoker, fire pit, and additional outdoor shower. Pond is stocked with perch. Beautiful walking trails. Golf cart is onsite but availability may be limited. Along with relaxing with nature and enjoying the family farm of goats, chickens and our donkey Biscuit.

This property is fun for the whole family and offers everything you need for a great vacation!
