John's place has a beautiful view of the lake with nice porches to hang out. The house is decorated with unique items that are interesting to look at. I was able to relax and unwind. He is a very responsive host and I look forward to returning.

We had a relaxing and enjoyable family getaway experiences. The house itself is beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. The spacious living area is perfect for gathering with family, while the large windows provide stunning views of the lake, especially at sunset. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The outdoor space is another highlight, featuring a lovely patio, a fire pit for evening gatherings, and direct access to the lake for fishing and kayaking. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, I recommend the Lake House. If you're looking for a getaway, a family vacation, or a fun trip with friends, this place has it all. I can't wait to return for another wonderful escape!

We were in the area for wedding and this place looked like a peaceful place to stay. The drawback is that you are out away from most establishments. The place was everything we expected. Thanks!

Ceci was very help and communicative throughout out the whole process! Great view and distance from the lake! We also enjoyed the layout of the house and were all able to watch movies together. The fire pit was also great.

This was a beautiful place to stay. We made it just at sunset and was taken by the views of the nature and lake. Just amazing. The upgrades to the home really show that they hear and listen to the reviews. the upstairs is now a room, totally closed in from the noise below, and 3 sets of patio furniture with umbrellas on the deck that were not apart of the original pictures, were a pleasant surprise. Please Makenzie update the pictures, everything looks so great! But just as other reviews have stated this place is great! They really put thought into this. I can't wait to come back! Makenzie was amazing with answering all of our questions including being patient with us as we chased down the tv remote! Keep up the good work! Book here, it will be worth it!

We really enjoyed ourselves here! It was beautiful, quiet, and the perfect place to get away from life for a few days!

Very pleased with our stay at the hickory house, very nice place and private, plenty of lake frontage to fish and hangout with friends and family. Will definitely be back!!
