Great prairie trail is close to this place. It was also nice to have a Mariano’s close to the stay. Highly recommend.

An affordable, clean space. This was ideal for attending a conference. We didn't spend much time at the house, mostly just for breakfast. Easy parking in the alley next to the house. No complicated check out rules - which was nice because we left early in the morning. Appreciated that there were no scented items/linens in the home. Dinning table is tall with tall chairs, if that's a difficulty for anyone.

My daughter, who stayed there, travels frequently and said she'd never been in an AirBnB as "well-stocked" as this one! Everything they could possibly need was there! We will definitely recommend this house to other family who visit if we can't fit everyone at our place.

The ranch was perfect for my family and I! The house was spotless and looked just like the pictures. The surrounding neighborhood was quiet and very cute. Jackie left us some sweets for when we got there (super yum!!) and was very responsive and helpful! 100% recommend!

We loved our stay at Javier’s place! It was perfect for a large group. So spacious, clean, and comfortable. The backyard was also great, if the weather had been better it would have been lovely to spend time out there. Javier was also very responsive and proactive.

Very clean and well maintained home. Kitchen was well stocked with pans and other utensils. Our grandkids didn’t want to leave the awesome basement!

We had originally booked 2 nights, but had such a great time and felt so at home staying at Michael's place that we decided to extend our stay for an extra night. It felt so peaceful and relaxing and even the kids were begging to stay another day. Luckily it was available. Everything was very clean and we loved the style and decor of the house. The view from the balcony was beautiful and perfect for enjoying an early morning cup of coffee. The house had everything we needed for our stay with kids and dogs. The kids loved that we had access to the pool at the owners club and the dogs loved taking walks down the path by the lake. Also, Michael was very responsive throughout our stay. We had an issue with one of the TV's and within 10-15 minutes the maintenance guy was there and able to get it up and running. This place is definitely at the top of our list the next time we visit Galena!

We enjoyed our stay at Amy’s Pool House! It was perfect for our trip visiting family during thanksgiving. Close to everything we needed and easy to find and access. The house was well stocked, esp plenty of towels! It was perfect for our dog too. He loved their yard and it was perfectly quiet for him. There is plenty of space and its comfy. We really enjoyed using the tv, and the hot tub! You could see the stars at night. :) We found the pool house a bit chilly at times and the bed was not our preference but overall we really enjoyed our stay! Amy was also very responsive and kind! We would come back here to stay again! :)

Family ski trip! It was perfect! 20min to Chestnut Ski resort and 15mins to downtown Galena! It was the perfect stay and plenty big enough. We will be back next year!

Hailey was an excellent host. The Aspen House is beautiful. It was the perfect size for our family of 6. It has everything you could need. We really liked that there were plenty of blankets and entertainment outlets. Our youngest was excited to see that one of her favorite spiral toys was there. We had to leave abruptly in the wee hours of the morning due to a sick kid and Hailey made check out a breeze. We were grateful as she ended up being pretty sick. We will definitely look to stay here again when we're in the area.

The highest praise I can give an airBnB that we have rented, is whether or not I would stay again. The answer- a resounding yes! Amazing communication with this host and the place was lovely. Had all the amenities we needed and more! Thank you Jared!

The hidden beach house is a lovely place to stay if you are a couple that just wants to get away from everything or if you are like us my daughter and I who came to town and just basically needed a place to sleep and shower. It’s a very small space but it is Clean and quiet thought it was gonna be two rooms but it was not but it wasn’t the hosts mistake. It was mine because I didn’t read the description correctly. The parking garage is about a block and a half down on the main street and it is $38 per day if you try to park on the street and you don’t have a parking permit the people that do have a permits can have you towed so you can play it safe and just pay for the parking or you tried to park on the street and hope nobody towed your car at your expense. Also, you do share a water heater with the rest of the units so be mindful of when you’re getting up and taking a shower so you don’t have a nice cold shower unless that’s what you prefer. And there is so much to do.

My stay was short, just two nights and I was gone during the day, but in the evening my dog and I were comfortable. I used the sofa, not the loft bedroom. It was clean with anything that you might need. I'm familiar with the area and got take out both nights from restaurants nearby just 5-10 mins drive. Nice neighborhood, was quiet (very important to me) and am sure that it is very lovely outside once spring/summer grass/flowers have grown.

Alex was great at communicating and following up. We had some questions and she was responsive. Also goes beyond expectations on things like forgetting coats :0) - thank you! The location is great. Short walk to a Main Street of bars and restaurants, kid friendly too - happy campers pizza joint was a great reco! Also close to the brown line train station and not too far into town - we walked it with children and it was fine. House is really large, spacious. I know some have mentioned about hearing the train, but that is part of city living, it was more than fine. Enjoyed the stay, would recommend it and would go back again if visiting Chicago. The listing doesn’t do this place justice. It was so very very clean, well appointed including an iron and ironing board which wasnt mentioned in the listing. Quiet and safe neighborhood. Plenty of hot water and more than enough bath towels and wash cloths. Shower gels and shampoos provided. Well appointed kitchen and freezer full of ice. The bed was so comfortable I overslept every morning. Super easy check in and out. I’m going to mention again the cleanliness of the place - on a scale of 1 to 10 it was a 20. I highly recommend this place.

Cute house adorably decorated. Lots of games to keep you busy and clear instructions to make your stay run smoothly. The screened in porches were where we spent most of our time. They are so comfortable. Lots of perks like the snack bar and shower necessities. Very close to two boat ramps and plenty of room to park a boat trailer. We will stay again.

I stayed for one night, and it was a great place to relax during my roadtrip. The place really felt like a home, and I really enjoyed the location as it was peaceful and private. I would really recommend staying at this place!

A great place super close to downtown Galena and a quick drive to Chestnut Mountain - truly the best of both worlds. We had a wonderful time staying here with our dog who especially loved the big back yard.

The townhouse was amazing. We could have spent the whole time looking at the art and collectibles on the shelves and walls. The location couldn't have been more convenient to Wrigleyville and was a great neighborhood to walk the dogs around in.
