Stay in a 1 bedroom cottage, overlooking the beautiful Cass Bay, 25 mins from Christchurch CBD and 5 minutes from Lyttelton village. The modern cottage has one bedroom, lounge/living area, and private deck. Cooking facilities include a BBQ on the deck, small bench-top oven, and microwave. Mariners Cabin is a modern and minimalist retreat situated in picturesque Cass Bay, perfect for solo travellers or couples looking for a serene escape. This cabin (13 square meters in size) is suspended in the trees, offers the best proximity to beach views, an outdoor bath, barbecue, and a romantic outdoor dining area. It also features an authentic wood burner, ensuring warmth and coziness during chilly nights, while the comfortable double bed provides a restful night's sleep.

Te Ara Cottage Tranquil Retreat

Beautiful charming cottage with fantastic view. The cottage has a queen bed, a sitting room, shower, bath and toilet with own deck. Not self-contained but has a gas cooker, bbq set, microwave, mini fridge, kettle and toaster. Tea/Plunger coffee are provided. There is a walking track below the cottage and also more walks around here. We are located in Diamond Harbour, 20min walk to jetty that you can catch a ferry to Lyttelton, only 10min ride, beautiful journey.

Pocket of Paradise

This is a great place to relax and admire the views into Purau Bay and out to Lyttelton Heads. The cottage is hidden in the bush and very private (not a roof in sight) with spectacular views. Tranquility and peace are keywords here. Wake up to the song of the bell bird and the sun streaming in. It's a 5 minute walk to a cafe and restaurant and a 10 minute walk to the ferry to Lyttelton from which you can access Christchurch by bus.

Orchard Cottage, Diamond Harbour

Orchard Cottage (c1910) is a private, sunny, self -contained guest house in its own colourful garden and a shared orchard which guests are welcome to enjoy. It is close to Diamond Harbour's town centre amenities, and just 10 minutes walk from the Lyttelton ferry. There is good swimming at the nearby beach which is a few minutes down a bush track from the cottage and lots of lovely clifftop walks and other beaches nearby.

With an outlook of native Kanuka and large pines this 3 bedroom home in Purau Valley is perfect for a relaxing holiday, boating, fishing or exploring the area Only 45 min from Christchurch city, on the stunning Banks Peninsula and just 1.5 hours to the popular town of Akaroa. A 5min drive to the ferry to take you to lyttelton for great restaurants or the saturday farmers market. or just hang out with the resident goats.
