This was a fantastic place to stay during our road trip. Felt comfy, peaceful and safe. Included car space too which was super helpful. Will stay again if we find ourselves in the area.

This is a lovely traditional home in a small, quiet town, attractive to stroll around and admire. The house is spacious, comfortable, and well-stocked for a night or two with friends and/or family. It suited our group of five adults and two 12-year-olds extremely well. The fact that it has so many bedrooms is a significant advantage for groups that don't all want to share the same sleeping space, as is often the case at Japanese Airbnbs. The friendly hosts were waiting for us at check-in and gave us an extremely detailed tour and explanation of the property. There are not many services within walking distance, so we were glad we rented a car. We cooked dinner and breakfast, and found many useful condiments and spices in the kitchen. Really, the only disadvantage of this home is that it is rather expensive, but the experience of staying there is unique, making it worth the cost. Airbnb prices in general seem to be rising, so it is not dissimilar to others like it.

Hiroki is a great host - very responsive and friendly! I had an issue with the shower (user error!) and Hiroki came along very quickly to resolve it. Made me feel very comfortable and accommodated for. The flat is a great place to stay for a weekend getaway - good amenities and lots of nice restaurants nearby. The castle is very close and you can also walk to the station in 20 mins. There are good bus connections nearby.

Quiet and nice neighbourhood, we had a pleasant stay, check in and check out was very easy. Very clean house but the wood has a smell, lucky in bedroom doesn't have the smell. Overall very nice.

ホストのちひろさんとのやり取りは、素早く丁寧な返答で、大変安心感がありました。 お家は懐かしの日本のお家という感じで、まさに寛ぎの空間です。 沢山卓上ゲームや思い出ノートがあり、家の中でも楽しく過ごせます！ 特に、食パンとコーヒーのおかげで非常に気持ちのいい朝を過ごせました。 気になった点としては、お堀の道路に面しているので、夜は車の音や人の話し声、街灯の光が差し込みます。 耳栓をして眠ったのと、カーテンの遮光がしっかりしていたのでちゃんと眠れました。 是非また利用したいです。 ありがとうございました！

子供達と4人で滞在しました。とても広くて清潔で、寝室とリビングがキッチンを隔てて分かれているので、子供達が寝た後も大人は起きていれました。スーパーとドラッグストアが近かったので、子供の急な体調の変化にも対応できました。また彦根に来たら泊まりたいです！
