Had a fantastic couple of nights. Relaxing, great views, and the property was very nice. Would definitely stay there again. Log fire was easy to use, and provided a great focal point in the sitting room.

We can honestly say we have never felt so chilled and at home at any property we have rented. This was a last minute find but was genuinely worth it. Clear and concise directions to get to property and once there no need to get in your car again. Alasdair was very quick with answering queries about how to more than anything. Local shops and restaurants are on your doorstep so if you forget anything pop to local Co-op an approximate 10 minute walk. The beach is so sandy (yes that's a funny thing to say but important in the UK) - nice and clean and the locals are genuinely happy and engaging, must be something in the water as the locals all meet early morning for a swim. The house is great. Good size kitchen and living room, and the bedrooms were big. Bathrooms clean and well stocked with shower gel and shampoo and importantly toilet paper. Lounge has a log burner which is easy to use and a tv with good reception. A great experience to be re-enjoyed

This is one of the best Airbnb stays I have had over the years. Sharon was just unbelievably kind and considerate as a host. From start to finish this was a smooth stay. As we were there over Christmas we didn’t get to visit a lot of places, but we took walks along the beach which was lovely, especially when the sun was starting to set. The home was furnished very well and had all the amenities that you would need. Despite us going over our checkout time (again apologies for this) Sharon and the team were so understanding and allowed us to move out our things and kept that kind spirit. In a way it might’ve been a plus as we got to meet her in person and she is just as lovely. Would truly recommend this home. And will definitely be booking this over summer at one point and for a longer stay, to really take in the house!!

Traumhaft schöne Lage. Freistehendes Häuschen mit Garten direkt am Stand. (Garten ist durch die ruhige Straße getrennt vom Haus). Schöne Schlafzimmer und bequeme Betten. Das Bad ist sehr einfach aber ausreichend. Separates WC im EG. In der Nachbarschaft gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt.

Excellent place to stay. We cannot recommend it highly enough. Warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. We had long days house hunting and it was so nice to have somewhere so amazing to come back to. Thank you so much John. Excellent experience from start to finish. We will be back!

We enjoyed exceptional weather and the house was the perfect location to make the most of our surroundings. It is only a few minutes to the beach and a few beautiful walks. The area where the house is located is quiet, the house was very clean and spacious with all that was needed there.

It’s no wonder that this cottage is a guest favourite - we absolutely loved it! We were blessed with a few days of glorious weather so we were able to make good use of the rooftop terrace but we decided that even in less good weather the ever changing view from the sun lounge would have kept us happy for hours. The cottage was extremely well equipped and comfortable throughout with an exceptionally detailed information folder. We’d love to return.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Katies Haus sehr genossen, auch wenn es nur kurz war. Alles war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Mit Katie zu kommunizieren war einfach und die Anweisungen im Haus klar und verständlich. Sie ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Portmahomack ist ein schönes Dörfchen am Meer und es hat alles, was man für einen Aufenthalt in Katies Haus braucht. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

We had a fantastic stay in Nairn. Karen was a brilliant host. The house was exactly what we were expecting and more, lots of thoughtful useful information provided. We visited as a family with a 3 year old daughter, Nairn is a lovely place and perfect for children, Alice loved the splash park and the beach, both a short walk away. Thanks for having us, we’d love to come back in future!

Our stay at the cottage was great! It was such close proximity to Fort George and the beach which we enjoyed walking along as the sun set. It was well equipped and we so enjoyed our time.

There was everything we needed; towels, toilet rolls, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, utensils, coffee, tea, cooking oil. The beds are very comfortable but are high. Each bedroom is spacious and very nicely decorated, with sufficient wardrobe/drawer space and lamps. There is a shower room downstairs which is great for anybody staying in the ground floor bedroom. The location was great, only metres from the beach and with plenty of street parking. Overall it’s a great place and we will be visiting again.

We had such a lovely stay for a few nights. The place was very cute and clean and had everything we needed. The location is wonderful and it was easy for us to get into Inverness or explore the immediate surrounding area.

This is a lovely cosy cottage in the centre of this beautiful village and a stones throw from the bay. The house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay!

We absolutely loved staying here, perfect location , only a few minutes and your by the harbour and beautiful beaches where you can walk for miles. This cottage was perfect and peaceful, and was so quiet. The rooms are light and airy and very clean, everything you want is provided . The bed was so comfortable , Iv never slept so well , I think it was a combination of a great mattress, bedding and sea air ! Booklets are provided with useful information, and a lovely welcome gift as well . Great communication with Iain and Helen, lovely hosts. Nairn shops are only 5 mins away with everything you need, Restaurants , top tip either book or arrive before 8pm :-) We came by train , 10 min walk away. Thank you Iain and Helen for hosting - we thoroughly enjoyed staying at your cottage.

Another wonderful stay at St Trinneans. Plenty of room for 3 generations of our family - 7 in all. We've stayed her a few times now and Karen is always easy to contact and very friendly to deal with. The property is clean, comfortable and cosy with wonderful views. Thoroughly recommend and I'm sure we will be back before too long. Thanks again Karen.

Mark is a great host and our employees couldn't have been happier with their stay at Marks home whilst working away. Mark is extremely helpful and responsive to messages and thankfully was able to extend our stay as our job over ran the length of time expected. Extra cleans & bedding changes were completed promptly and nothing was too much a bother :)

The house was fabulous. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very much at home there. It has everything you need and is in a great location. Gillian was a very helpful responsive host and we would definitely stay there again.

Lovely cottage right beside a beautiful beach. Short walk to the harbour where there is an inn. Nice walks nearby. The cottage is warm and cozy and well equipped. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay! it was a perfect location to come home to after 24 hrs of travel. We decompressed from big cities. We walked to Crofters and had the most delicious eggs benedict. You cannot go wrong with the salmon or bacon! Cappuccino was spot on! We then walked to the beach and headed to the fairy pools. It wasn't too far away for dinner in Inverness. Claire was super communicative when I was having trouble figuring the shower and wash machine. The beds were absolutely comfy and I wouldn't hesitate to go back! oh! and the tavern next door! They brought the craic!

Beautiful house- well equipped and comfortable. Close to the Bakery and the village shop. It had a lovely enclosed patio which made it very dog friendly. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

Lovely stay for the Easter weekend. The local beach is beautiful and Wendy was super responsive and helpful/ flexible with time of arrival. We also got a lovely little hamper on arrival (milk in the fridge, and some local goodies) which was enormously appreciated after a long drive.

Fantastic place had a great time visiting our daughter and her husband. The local area is absolutely stunning with lots to do and the accommodation is so cosy you could just stay there very easily. Welcome pack was incredible and a lovely touch. Dog friendly and the walks straight from the house were perfect for the dog. Highly recommend the harbour lights restaurant and the galley fish and chip shop walking distance from the cottage. Had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. Thank you Wendy.
