This house was awesome! My Fiancé and I rented this to gather family for Easter 2025. Linda gave us permission to have family who were semi local to visit for our Easter dinner which was so special to us! My guests staying with us were impressed with how relaxing the back area was with the pool and the sunroom. We had multiple adults, our niece (6mo) and several of our 4 legged nieces / nephews and there was plenty of space for us all. We are so grateful for Linda and her generosity! The day of check out one of our guests had rental car issues that took several hours to correct. Linda was gracious enough to extend our check out to allow time for them to fix the car issues and then get back to the house to pack up. We will definitely be coming back!

Our stay at this Lake Norman property was absolutely fantastic! The location is unbeatable—right on the water with stunning views and easy access to everything the lake has to offer. The home was spotless upon arrival, and you can tell the hosts take great pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming space. One of the best features was having the boat available to rent on-site—it made exploring the lake effortless and so much fun! We also loved the added amenities like the fire pit, hot tub, kayaks, and fishing poles, which made for great memories with our family. The fireplace inside was perfect for cozy evenings, and all the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hosts were incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun-filled getaway on Lake Norman. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a great time at this home. Our kids loved using the provided kayaks and swimming in the beach area and fishing. The house had what we needed and more for a perfect weekend getaway for our family of 4. Clean and comfortable for us all. We definitely will be back. Our host was responsive and gave clear instructions about our stay. We can’t wait to return again!

Beautiful house and location! Shady Shoals was perfect for our spring getaway. You can really tell that the owners put a lot of thought into providing everything guests might want or need during their stay. Brinnan was very helpful with any questions we had and checking in and out was a breeze. We loved the screened in porch, big kitchen, and serene setting. I loved being able to sit on the dock and read while the kids enjoyed the lake. Be sure to visit Lake Norman State Park - a short drive away with lots to do!

Ok you have to stay here! The house is just lovely with beautiful vaulted ceilings, wood beams, bright sunlight filtering through the giant windows and skylights complete with beautiful views. It is designed to feel peaceful, stylish and comfortable. It literally has ALL the things to do and plenty of privacy. I can’t even list it all the amenities in the space given. To top it off the host Allison was beyond thoughtful! There was a little sign to welcome us and she left a cake to celebrate my husband’s birthday. Made us feel like we were staying in the home of close friends. Seriously just rent this one, you WILL love it!

100 Stars is my rating! I’ve stayed at 20+ rentals and this was THE BEST home! The home was better than pictured. Cleanest place ever. Beds & pillows comfy. Linens/Towels like new. Great water pressure for showers & showers clean like your home! Kitchen well stocked w/extras like bags, spices (that all match) etc. Attention to details like rolled towels, “poo-pouri”, hotel like canisters for shower essentials. We used both upper & lower decks. Outdoor cushions -new + built in seating. Grill: easy to use, clean & to light (needed clicker butane lighter in the kitchen) We all kept saying, this place is amazing! Location close to I-77, Costco and all kinds of things! The only thing I’d improve on is better suctioned shower rods. 2 of the 4 shower rods slipped when the curtains got super wet/walls were slick (after 5 uses immediately back to back). We were able to slide them back up when dry. Spaced out showers next day and no issues!

This place is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and just what our family needed. So grateful that we were able to bring our sweet dog too. Our son is way into fishing-the dock was exactly what we were looking for. LeeAnn is an incredible host, answered any and all questions and the place was exactly as she described. We already know that we will be back and can’t wait to plan our next visit.

My only complaint is the instructions for checking in on the keypad lacked a key component. Had to search out office staff at the place to find out how to check in the main gate. Everything else was very simple. Great stay. Beautiful and clean accommodations. Very convenient to everything I wanted to do. Would stay again.

The beds were really comfortable and clean. The house felt really homey, all the lights shined bright, AC felt really good. The location is in a safe neighborhood. Beautiful kitchen with spacious countertop and clean silverware for use. The living room had a big TV to watch movies on at night. The owners responded super fast and provided a lot of helpful information.

We had a great time, wonderful space to have family gathering.

Such a fun little spot on the lake. Cozy and clean. We had a blast fishing and sitting in the sunroom reading. Well appointed and located close enough to town for convenience but isolated enough to feel like an escape.

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin. It’s a great location to take day trips and go out for meals. The home was in great condition and had what we needed. Danielle was very responsive. The pontoon boat is an amazing feature to have and we enjoyed taking it out. The hill to get to the lake from the house was quite steep and may be difficult for some people to navigate - just something to be aware of. The actual home / host / experience were all excellent!

Alicia & John were lovely hosts. Kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking meals. There were extra towels & washcloths for our family of five. Lots of great info in their guest binder. Covered pier was an amazing place to spend mornings & evenings. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

The property location was perfect on the Lake and close to Restaurants and shopping. The host was very helpful with local recommendations and highlights of the area.

We absolutely loved this Airbnb. You cannot beat this lakefront property. The beds were comfy, the fire pit was great for the family and there was plenty of space for 7 of us. We would definitely recommend this cabin to other guests.

Amazing house with so much to do. The house is nicer than even the photos could relay, something not typical of rental properties. We had an amazing long weekend and wish we could have stayed longer.
