Excellent off season vacation. We were visiting friends in Huelva and Portugal so we decided to stay in El Rompido. The home is beautiful, we would have loved to have used the swimming pool but it was too cold. It is 30 min to Huelva and 1 hr to Faro, Portugal. The house is great for a group, upstairs is open and guests can live comfortably downstairs. We would definitely stay here again! Gate staff were very friendly as well.

Great stay with the family at the Villa that had everything we needed, to make our stay comfortable. Enjoyed the privacy and hassle-free check in and check out arrangements. Great location if you are looking for some quiet and tranquility, with a beautiful view of the rolling hills. Pool was great to cool off and enjoy some recreation. Everything you need is a few minutes' drive away.

After a lovely and restful month spent at Casa Yaenos, we struggled to find the right word to sum up the admiration and attachment we’d come to feel for this gem in the rolling hills of the Algarve. And the word we found, was awesome. Its mountaintop location with sea views and sunsets is awesome, perfect for those seeking peace and respite. The stars at night are awesomely bright too – we’d play games naming the constellations. There are awesome many places to practice yoga or simply read a good book along the stone pathways of the manicured gardens, and three bedrooms each with ensuite bathrooms are awesome comfortable for both couples and families alike. Casa Yaenos feels like home, and just like home – it will always be, that special something which nothing else can replace. Eddy and Annick are great hosts who want to make sure that his/her guests are comfortable and enjoying themselves. Simply AWESOME.

Wonderful four days celebrating our 50th birthdays, as a group of 8. Gorgeous villa and everything we needed, peaceful yet close enough to restaurants and bars, and Liz was lovely to deal with. Thank you for a great stay!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Villa Concha; but it’s a house really in a quiet residential area. Very convenient for the Railway Station ( easy for Tavira and Faro) but a longer walk to the river front (15 mins) with plenty of lovely restaurants & cafes. The board walk is a pleasure and the boat trips over to the main beach across the river run all day at 1.5 euros. The pool was perfect & enjoyed our evenings outside with the BBQ. It was the outside space we liked best.The house was cool and dark but had all we needed. Traditional Portuguese. Fridge was good. Very modest inside but clean. We enjoyed bike hire & cycling to Tavira and down the cycle route along the coast. We used Pingo Supermarket. Fabulous choice of fish & meat. No car. Uber for 4 euros with our large shop. The weather was lovely and needed the pool! Our trip came together via Mark our host. His response to any query was quick. So helpful, reliable & obliging. Made our holiday. Thank you Mark.

The villa was incredibly well presented and had plenty of utensils for cooking if you wanted to! The pool table was a bit with our kids. Paulo was very responsive when I had any questions. Overall a wonderful stay and plenty of space for us all.

The pictures can't convey how beautiful quinta mimosa is. Very cosy and rural location and more than enough space for a relaxing holiday. It's also perfectly located to get around the Algarve by car. Dina was always helpful if questions came up and supported us at all times.

Eine tolle Villa mit einem fantastischen Ausblick vom Berg hinab auf die Umgebung von Loulé, sogar bis weit aufs Meer hinaus. Alles sauber und gepflegt. Viel Platz im ganzen Haus. Abgeschieden vom touristischen Rummel, aber dennoch mit vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung. Eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung. Freundliche, stets hilfsbereite und allzeit zu erreichende Gastgeberin Denise Wir haben und von der ersten Stunde an sehr wohl gefühlt.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Tamsin's house, perfect position 5 mins walk from everything in a peaceful location. The house is even bigger than it looks on the photos, all the rooms are very spacious, comfy beds, good showers and the pool and garden are beautiful. We loved our stay and would definitely return. Tamsin was very flexible with check in times and departure which was a great help. Thanks

La maison est très agréable avec tout l'équipement nécessaire. La cuisine est très bien équipée, le mobilier très confortable, air conditionné, … Le jardin est également très agréable avec plusieurs endroits différents pour s'installer pour déjeuner ou diner en fonction de l'heure de la journée. Il est vaste et très bien entretenu, et complètement clos (idéal avec des enfants). La piscine est belle avec de l'espace autour et bien équipée (transats, parasols, …). La maison est très calme, sans vis-à-vis. Elle est très bien située pour permettre facilement de visiter la région tout en restant au calme. Un ménage a été fait en milieu de séjour (avec changement de serviettes). La communication a été excellente avec Christiane et Patrick, et les informations claires et précises. Merci. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille et je recommande vivement cette maison vraiment très très agréable.

It was a pleasure to stay and Vivian and Ruben’s place. The house is very spacious and can accommodate large groups perfectly. Vivian and Ruben were there to greet us and let us in and were available throughout the stay for any questions we had no matter how small. Highly recommend staying at their place. Pool was a great plus even for a mid October stay as it can be heated.

Villa magnifique. Emplacement top sans vis-à-vis! 4 chambres de haut standing! Propreté irréprochable. Madalena et Jean à l’écoute! La pièce du bas top pour passer de belle soirée en famille avec billard, équipements pour le sport vraiment top! Quelques suggestions d’améliorations (en tout cas pour notre séjour) : check-in un peu rapide car on a du chercher les choses pour la piscine, puis pas la possibilité de déplier le store extérieur pour avoir un peu d’ombre c’était un peu dommage. Le chauffage de la piscine s’est mis en route au milieu du séjour mais après c’était vraiment top!! Merci pour tout on va la relouer nous nous sommes de suite sentis chez nous!

We had a wonderful stay at Blue Hill Boutique Villa. The villa had everything we needed for our 10 days stay and the pool was amazing (15m in length). Location is very private and quiet as well as safe. We enjoyed spending time at the villa and had a relaxing few BBQ dinners. Kitchen is well equipped with high quality electric appliances. The villa is well located. 10 mins to Olhao with many nice restaurants and seafood market and 25 mins to Faro. Antonio had been very helpful and responsive to our needs. The only suggestion is if owner can install some curtains/blinds in the bedrooms. There are black-out electric shutters. However, if the shutters are closed, the air-con needs to be switched on. It would be nice to have fresh air during the night whist the bedroom windows / electric shutters are open. Overall, great villa and wonderful stay. Highly recommend!

The stay at this rental was absolutely amazing. Jacky was a gracious host and was there for any need and informed us of the villa very well . As of the villa , the place was pristine and full of the amenities listed . Would love to come back here.

José et Catiá ont été très accueillant et disponible pour notre séjour à 12 dans leur maison, notamment pour remédier rapidement à des petits soucis (un problème d'ouverture de porte par exemple). ils ont aussi été arrangeant sur notre heure d'arrivée et nous les en remercions beaucoup. leur logement est beau, très fonctionnel et très très bien entretenu, il est très agréable à vivre. Le seul point disons négatifs qui ne dépend pas de nos hôtes sont les nombreux travaux de constructions dans le quartier qui engendrent quelques nuisances sonores matinales mais sinon tout était super! Merci à eux !

Très belle villa, située dans les hauteurs de Faro, à une vingtaine de km du centre. Très bien située pour rayonner en Algarve. Confortable. Très belle vue. Idéale pour un séjour en famille ou à plusieurs couples.

This spacious, often quirky house with annexe is exactly what we needed for our family + dog get-away. It's clear that "Casa Evang" has been in use for quite some time as a family holiday home, so everything is there and provided for, e.g. kitchen utensils and things like coffee capsules, spices, oil, vinegar, mosquito repellents etc. – I personally appreciate it very much when I don't have to spend my first hours on vacation going to the supermarket and looking for the basics! I can't count the many hours we spent outside, be it by the large pool or on the terrace, just relaxing, reading, having barbecues etc. Despite the very convenient location – the town center (with supermarkets, restaurants etc.) is just a 10 min walk away – the property allows for all the privacy you need, with no direct neighbours. Last but not least, the hosts were very friendly and responsive, allowing us an early check-in and changing the gas bottle when we ran out of gas on a Sunday night. Thanks a lot!

We had a great time and were so happy to be able to check in a couple of days early, leaving behind a very poor nightly rental. It was a relief to be with a friendly, responsive host. The place was great with lots of space. Nice pool area....we didn't get to use it because of the weather, but it looked lovely.

Great place, very private including the great pool. Kitchen met all expectations, rooms and living room likewise. Carlos was very responsive and solved extremely quickly a couple of minor items. Highly recommended. We wanted to come back in August but the place was already taken.

Wij (gezin met 3 jonge kinderen) verbleven een week op deze locatie.Het is een prachtig , compleet en zeer schoon huis. Het was ideaal dat er bijvoorbeeld een tafelstoel, kinderbadje en een wc-verkleiner aanwezig waren. Aanvullend op alle voorgaande recensies vonden wij de locatie (dichtbij de grens met Spanje) zeer positief om ook deels Spanje te verkennen.

This place was wonderful and quiet with beautiful views from sunset to sunrise you see it all happening. It's a must having a car for local grocery as its about 6min drive to any of the main supermarkets. Beaches are near by as well about 20 to 30min drive depending on the one you want to go to. I would rebook again in the future as my family loved it too.

We had a great stay at Carla’s place. It’s a lovely modern villa with lots of space inside and out. The location is in a quiet residential street with just few minutes walk to a small grocery store and few restaurants. The Restaurante A Carpintaria is absolutely a must to try! With a car, which I would recommend, you can get to Tavira and Fuzeta in 10 min drive. Both are lovely touristy places with markets, restaurants, boats etc. The biggest hit of the holiday for us though was the heated pool! It was clean and perfectly warm and we spend all days in it which would not be possible in April without the heating. It felt like the middle of summer holidays. Fernanda and Carla were very nice to deal with and sorted any issues we had very quickly and with no hassle. All together a great place to stay.

Appartement propre, agréable et complet. Tout pour cuisiner, laver son linge, barbecue disponible pour passer un bon moment entre amis. Hôtes très agréables, réceptifs à la moindre demande. Nous avons passé un très beau séjour.
