Review by wife: Stayed here with my bridesmaids for my wedding weekend (wedding venue: Villa Toscana, approx. 9 minutes away). I absolutely loved the place. Everything about the home is so cute! It made for the perfect relaxing morning on my wedding day. I honestly think the home looks even better in person than in the pictures. The home decor is beautiful and the place was very spacious. Host was incredibly nice, accommodating, and responsive. She opened the property’s calendar so that we can book almost a year ahead of time. She even allowed one of my bridesmaids to come earlier than check in time to be able to surprise me with a setup. Host also allowed makeup/hair artist into the home for the big day. I truly can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you’re getting married in the homestead area!! Thank you again for everything and being a big reason why my wedding weekend was fabulous.

From the amazing outdoor amenities (gazebo, pool, outdoor kitchen and dock) to the well-equipped kitchen, Stu's place exceeded our expectations. We were especially happy with the separate efficiency apartment with a full kitchen as I was still recovering from knee surgery. We enjoyed having our boat docked directly behind the house with easy access to the Bay and were fortunate to see manatees in the canal behind the house one morning. We took a sunset cruise to nearby Gilbert's Resort and were delighted to see dolphins frolicking in the Bay! Stu was very attentive to our needs and quickly resolved any issues that we had during our visit. I would highly recommend a stay at Stu's waterfront retreat!

Great place! Exactly like the pictures. AMAZING heated pool! Very clean. Ruth was an excellent host! She had fresh flowers, toiletries and even snacks and breakfast items to get us started! Most Airbnb’s you have to provide your own TP, paper towels, trash bags and soap but not here! Ruth had the place very well stocked. We will definitely be returning! Our first stay at this property was truly unforgettable, and we can't wait to return! Francisco is an outstanding host, always quick to respond and attentive to every detail. The house exceeded our expectations—it was spotless, fully equipped, and conveniently located near stores and restaurants. The outdoor area was a peaceful and inviting space, thoughtfully designed with a refrigerator, sink, hot tub, gas fire pit, and ceiling fans to keep you comfortable. The soft lighting added a warm and welcoming ambiance, perfect for evening gatherings or simply relaxing under the stars. We especially loved the canal, which was incredibly easy to navigate and provided quick access to the ocean—a paradise for fishing enthusiasts! The house was beautiful, the area in marathon is perfect. Right on the water across from a marina. The house was very cleanly. Perfect space in the kitchen for cooking. Lots of utensils. We brought our blow up paddle boards and were able to use the kayaks too. However they were pretty difficult to put in the water because the dock is about a 5-7 foot drop to the water. Would have been nice to have some steps into the water or something. It was also difficult to tie up our boats as they were smaller boats under 25 feet. At low tide the dock bumpers still didn’t reach the boats to prevent from hitting the dock so we were constantly watching the boats and utilizing our bumpers. There was construction going on during our stay next door the whole time but communication when mentioned to the property manager was prompt and they were able to offer us a slight accommodation discount from almost 1/2 our pet fee. Pet fee is also per pet so can be pricey. Overall great vacation.

Beautiful home, exactly as pictured. Location is great for exploring the keys. Only regret is not staying longer. There was so much to do in the area and the house was perfect!

I'm not sure where to begin, when we walked into the home we couldn't believe our eyes, It was such a large area with different sections in the home but all connected at the same time. everybody had their own room and a beautiful living room and then a sitting room enough bathrooms for everybody. The views on the terraces that come off the bedrooms and the dining room are absolutely gorgeous. We actually saw dolphin just passed the gate in the Bayside jumping and playing in late afternoon. We were sitting in the chairs out front and deer came up to us and licked our fingers 🩷 I don't think I'll ever stay in another place and the keys! when I tell you this place is well stocked I truly mean it is well stocked. some guests leave fresh food for you to consume and drink, The cupboards are stocked, You could literally get lost walking from the left side of the house to the right. It's big, beautiful, comfortable, amazing! You get what you pay for 100%. Stephanie is the best host we've ever

Our stay was wonderful. The location offered us plenty of places to explore. The condo was immaculate with great amenities.

Rhonda's place is terrific! Lovely location with full water views. Pool was excellent. The home was very comfortable, clean and convenient to restaurants and stores. Would definitely rent again.

The place was exactly as pictured over looking the marina. The fire pits water side were very nice. The property is very walkable for morning and evening walks. Hot water was a problem when we arrived, limited hot water in kitchen And bathrooms. Maintenance came and turned water temp up. Golf cart did not work upon arrival. We were given a different cart the day before we were to leave, so used it once. I would think if carts are offered and paying for them within the nightly fee, they should make sure they work. The place is a good home base. Angela was very responsive to problems .Thank you for that. Yes, I would stay again and enjoy the pools !

Indira’s place was very clean and so relaxing for our family. We liked watching fishing boats come and go while sitting in patio. Marathon is a great place to visit with so many family friendly parks and attractions nearby. I recommend it.

great place for outside cooking and relaxing, room is a bit small but it's just for sleeping, the outside sitting area is huge and great for entertaining if you had other friends nearby

This was a wonderful place for my friends and I! We came here for a weekend visit to the Keys. We were surrounded by so much wildlife and many kind people. The place was very clean when we arrived and the beds were super comfy! I really enjoyed walking to no name pub that was down the road with my friends. Great vibes all around :)

Perfect home base for my Everglades adventures. Clean & comfy, enjoyed the patio & super sweet cat (and I’m not usually a cat person🤣). Arrived late, a little tricky to find in the dark, but don’t think twice, great little place!

We spent a week here and loved it, it was the perfect size for me and my husband to celebrate our anniversary. It was clean and spotless. We loved to sit out by the water and watch the wildlife, jet skis and wind surfers. It's so peaceful around there. There are also lots of great restaurants near by. We hope to come back again sometime.

The 4 of us had a great stay at our cabin at Old Wooden Bridge which we found to be a very convenient base to visit the other keys. Having a full working kitchen and own BBQ with plenty of seating both inside and outside was a definitely a plus. A shopping mall with a large supermarket is only a 5 minute drive away. Appreciating that the accommodation is a cabin, we did feel however that the bathroom could do with modernising and the double beds with two adult occupants are rather on the small side. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and the owners were very helpful with snorkelling and beach recommendations.

Fantastic stay for the price. Very peaceful place and the staff on property were very kind. The house itself was great. Robin gave us some great recommendations for things to try around the area.
