Lovely place with great amenities. Ideal for family gatherings and our 2 dogs especially were very happy with the outside space. It is easy to drive into Poole which has a good shopping area and lovely quayside. There were lots of good walking areas nearby and a choice of local park runs! There was a good space for the dogs to sleep off the utility room. And a well equipped games room in a former garage though this was rather cold at this time of year. I dare say some form of heating would be provided if requested. But we spent most time outside enjoying the garden space.

Wonderful few days stay! Such a peaceful place to be, so quiet and calm, perfect for a reset! The garden is truly dog friendly which was so perfect for our little escape artist! We were a short drive from lots of local villages and pubs and from the gorgeous coast. Highly recommend hive beach cafe, crab house, and the Saxon arms was good for a roast. We loved west bay beach for an early morning dip, modbury farm shop and Eweleaze dairy vending machine (a joy!) Thanks so much Andrea!

The Old Dairy is absolutely gorgeous! It had everything we needed, it’s very beautifully decorated and was very clean and cosy. The space is actually more spacious than the photos show. The surroundings are beautiful and we loved waking up to the sounds of birds and church bells in the distance. The location is great, very close to some great nature walks and to Lyme Regis. Suki is an amazing host! Very friendly, helpful and responsive! Definitely one of the best airbnbs we’ve been to and would love to visit again!

From arrival, throughout the stay, and on our departure, Charlotte and her husband were lovely and gracious hosts. We felt right at home and comfortable immediately and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will 100% re-book on our next trip down to Dorset.

We cannot speak highly enough of The Barn. It is finished to such a high standard and was spotlessly clean. Everything we could have wanted was there and the barn had been beautifully and lovingly restored by Charlie and their son. The hosts were so hands on with advice and recommendations. We were so honoured to be able to stay in such an amazing place and did not want to leave!

This is a spacious, immaculate property. The kitchen was very well equipped and the furniture was comfortable, as were the beds. The outside space is amazing and ideal if you have children who want to play outside. My daughter, and her family who have stayed in many holiday rentals, say it was the best ever. Thank you for a fabulous holiday

Notre séjour d’une semaine chez Penny et Howard a été merveilleux. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette adresse ! De jolies attentions nous attendaient à notre arrivée avec le charmant sourire de Penny, prête à répondre à toutes nos questions. Le logement est très soigné, très charmant, très bien situé entre le Somerset, le Dorset et le Devon, à vingt minutes de la côte. La vue sur le jardin magnifique et soigné est splendide, même depuis le lit si confortable que l’on y passerait des jours entiers … Nous avons pu faire de belles randonnées dans les alentours (notamment grâce au classeur préparé dans ce but par nos hôtes). Nous avons vraiment très bien dormi, réveillés par le chant des oiseaux. Le soleil illuminait notre petit-déjeuner, car la maison est orientée à l’est. L’eau au robinet est buvable et vraiment délicieuse ! Que dire de plus ? Un grand merci et bravo à Penny et Howard pour leur accueil !

I went for the Easter long weekend with my mum and friend. Anna is super lovely and made the whole stay great. It was self check in but she was available over message and very responsive. The flat is super clean, comfortable and spacious. We had treatments at Annas salon (massages and facials) and we all agreed they were the best we ever had. Couldn't recommend enough!

David and Pamela were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We stayed for 1 night and all went as well as the description stated. Thank you for your hospitality and would recommend staying at their apartment. Easy parking and close to town and amenities.

Thank you both for a lovely overnight stay. We really appreciated the message letting us know the property would be ready earlier than expected and it was lovely to be met by Pamela and shown around. The walk into town was around 15 mins and very easy. Very comfortable and cosy apartment with an extremely comfy bed! Thank you both for a great stay.

Absolutely loved our stay! The apartment was homely and peaceful and had everything we needed for a weekend away. Lucinda had also bought welcome snacks for us which were greatly appreciated! Would definitely stay again.

Thank you Ruth. We had a lovely short stay. It worked brilliantly for us. After a long and wet walk at Lulworth Cove we took advantage of the lovely warm fire. Relaxed and watched a movie. Great memories.

We loved our stay on the bus. The bus was lots of fun, especially the driver’s seat and stairs. The setting was lovely and camping facilities were great (hot and clean showers). The farm shop over the road was great and plenty to do nearby. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay, was a last min surprise for my partner's birthday - and Sarah was a great host - very responsive, and had thought of all the little details. The bed was super comfy, the heater and the electric blanket made it a lovely, cosy space. We ordered breakfast as well which was delicious and really good value. It felt slightly on the pricey side for what it was but appreciate it is quite a unique offering in the area and we booked quite last minute. Sarah helped with recommendations for where to eat out and nothing was too much trouble for her. We drove into Swanage / the beachfront as I was heavily pregnant but the distance was walkable. There were lots of fun things to do in town, even off season. The guest book was testament to how many other people had stayed and loved it as well - thank you so much!

Charlie’s caravan was a great place to stay for a 3 night break with my daughter and her 2 young children. The location was perfect for visiting Studland, Swanage, The Tank Museum, Putlake Farm and Blue Pool as all were within a 5 to 20 minute drive away. The children loved staying in the caravan and particularly liked having an early evening run around on the heath where we also saw the deer. They would love to stay again!

what an amazing place to stay. the cabin is warm and cosy and looks out onto beautiful countryside. Annette and Russ have thought of everything you might need. the cabin is charming, bright and modern with lovely decorative touches. the welcome pack was a lovely touch too including biscuits for our dog. The cabin is in walking distance of Hardy Monument and lots of other places to explore. we loved staying here and will definitely be back. Annette and Russ were really lovely hosts. warm and friendly but not intrusive. lots of ideas of places to visit and walk. thank you for a brilliant stay.

We had the most wonderful short break at Cedar cabin. Everything has been thought of, was spotless, and we adored the eco-friendly touches. Near enough the beauties of Dorset but set in its own peaceful surroundings, For a family with 2 small boys we’ve made some wholesome memories to cherish.

We had such a fab time at The Barn and exploring around Dorset and Somerset. Very comfortable and clean and Hayley & Michael were great hosts. Hope to visit again

Probably the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Everything we needed was here and the host was lovely and went absolutely went over and above. Had a great time, lot of days out, and the hideout was so lovely to come back to. Can’t recommend highly enough .

cherry tree shepards hut was a lovely place to stay Kath and Wick are very kind friendly amazing people with passion for horses and country life we felt very cosy and relaxed the hut is amazing and comfortable clean and tidy.We really enjoyed our stay.Great little escape.We are already planning our next trip back.
