The cabin was nice and clean. The hosts were friendly when contacted. Had trouble with WIFI. Hosts gave us the password to the cabin across the driveway so that was fine. Good experience overall. We love the large walk-in shower with good water pressure which was a pleasant change for most places we have been. We’d recommend this cabin to a stay at for a couple or small family.

Kristi was super helpful when we arrived late at night and all her instructions were detailed and correct.

We loved our stay here! The cabin was adorable and in a great location. Very peaceful but close to town. The host was communicative and kind enough to accommodate our request for a late checkout. I also appreciated that there were not outrageous cleaning requests before checkout like some airbnb's have. We hope to come back and stay again in the future.

Martin was an exceptional host. Extremely accommodating and worked with us when we had questions. I cannot recommend Martin or the Mountain Laurel enough. Have been sharing with friends and family. He went above and beyond on multiple fronts and was extremely understanding. It was a pleasure to work with him. The mountain laurel was very clean with plenty of amenities. It is in a very quiet location with many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors or relax on the deck or inside the open rooms with lots of natural light. We hope to return soon!

Wow! David & Lilly’s cottage was exactly what my family needed. We spent 3 nights and enjoyed the comfort and privacy of this home. My son loved playing the ukelele and my daughter loved having the screened porch day-bed to read Harry Potter on. Our golden retriever loved getting in the creek and woods behind the home. We enjoyed cooking together snd were thankful for how well-stocked the kitchen was with anything you could think of. We enjoyed finding board games to play and books to look at. The host had a sweet welcome note for our family and treats for our dog. My family enjoyed visiting Desoto State Park and doing the ropes course/zip-line. Highly recommend this cottage!

We spent two days and one night in this scenic area. We had a wonderful time and were grateful to have such a nice place to spend the night in! Catherine's cabin was clean and had everything we needed to relax for the evening and a night of great sleep!

Love this place. Go once a year

The view is incredible and the porch has very comfortable seating. The cabin is cozy without being cluttered. My sister and I loved sleeping in the loft. The gas fireplace was great for the cool evenings. The only thing I needed was a larger skillet. We love visiting Mentone. This time we spent one day visiting Rome, GA to see Berry College, and Summerville to see Howard Finster's Garden Paradise.

The perfect place for our girls trip. The view is beautiful.
